Part 71

 Ram priya was sitting out side the icu hands in hands both of them are equally tensed and petrified for their Child , priya is horribly petrified , she cant forgive herself , she is blaming herself for pihu’s health condition .

Back in the lobby the kapoors and Sharmas rushed into the hospital , they came to know about pihu’s health kk sat on the bench in distress . rishab rushed inside to find ram priya , he came to them …

“ bhai ..” he called ram , he looked up and then again looked down , rishab sat by priya , he said “ bhabi app ghar chaliye plz …app ki tabiyaat …”  rishab stopped as priya looked at him and said “ kaise jau , dekh ek baat , pihu ko abhi bhi hons nahi aya hain …kaise jau ….” She looked down , her tears fell on ram’s hand …

The doctor from the icu came out , he said “ mr and mrs.kapoor n e one of you can see her now , she is in sense …”

Ram priya stood up , they looked at each  other , ram said ‘ jao priya .. go and see her ….”

“ app …” priya looked at ram , who said “ go priya .. she needs you right now “ , without wasting time , priya rushed into the ICU wd the doctor , ad ram said “ rishab chal I need to talk wd khush , which disco  , pihu was being , I know my daughter made mistake by choosing to go to a disc , but which disc allowed kids of 16 -17 that I want to know , and which disc is that where drugs are available so freely , I want 2 know ..” ram wd rishab went to the lobby …

In the ICU

The doctor took priya to pihu , he whispered “ she is in sense call her by her name , she will respond to you and don’t take much time mam , she is still weak ….”

Priya nodded in agreement wd the doctor , she caressed pihu’s forehead …. Pihu turned her face to priya , she with blur vision recognized priya after few minutes , “ ma..mamma….”

“ shh……chup beta …. Chup …. Mamma is wd you naa….” Priya in a caring tone said ….

“ I … I m sorry mamma….” Pihu started crying …

“ na .. na beta don’t cry … don’t cry .. kuch nahi hua hain .. nothing has happened … nothing baby , my love , mamma is here naa …”

‘ papa ……”

“ papa is also here beta , but he is outside ..”

“ angry naa… mamma…”

“ na baccha he is not angry … not angry he is .. chup ho jaa beta …” priya took pihu’s hand between her palms and said “ I cant stay here baby , I have to go , but I m waiting outside , you are my fighter baby naa….”  Priya stopped and looked at her daughter asking her for an answer Pihu nodded yes ….

“ so … jaldi se theek ho kar hum sab ek saath ghar chalenge haa…” priya couldn’t complete proper doctor came and said “ mrs.kapoor … abhi .. jana padega app ko …”

“ yes doctor 2 mins plz …., priya looked at pihu and said “ beta mamma is only outside , ok .. mamma is going no where … when ever you will need me naa , ask doctor uncle , he will inform me .. ok ….”

Pihu responded wd a nod , placing a kiss on pihu’s hand priya came out of the ICU …. She sat just ouside the ICU again … eha came and sat by her, priya looked at her and said “ neha , meri bacchi … nanhi si jaan dekho kiss halat mein hain ….as mother I failed to protect her , aaj agar sach mein kisi ladke ne kuch kar diya hota toh …” priya cried covering her face .

‘ priya ….” Neha hugged priya , “ kuch nahi hota khush hain naa uska bhai …”  priya sat there wd neha , just to consol herself that her daughter is safe inside and to make sure when ever her daughter will need her she will be there to be wd her …..

In the parking area , where ram took khush accompanied by vikram and rishab .

“ bol beta which disco , I will not leave them .. bol naa beta ….” Ram looked at khush for an answer ….from long time he is asking khush about the disco but he is not answering him , khush again looked at vikram ….

‘ yeh baar baar tu apne god father ke taraf kya dekhe jaa raha hain … vikram tu janta hain …” ram was restless to have an answer …

“ haan mein janta hoon , aur tu sunega toh pata nahi kaise react karega …” vikram said out of is nervousness …

“ react me .. plz tell me which disco ….” Ram insisted …

“ humara disco , sidd Ayesha ka disco .. khush ….” Vikram shouted …

“ WHAT !!!!” ram stepped back … , “ they didn’t even knew that pihu is there …”

“ they knew it bade papa they knew it ….they had a plan to black mail pihu and you … they knew it , they just knew it …..”  khush broke into tears , rishab consoled khush , vikram paced to ram who started walking to the hospital again , “ ram ram .. wait … yaar .. abhi kuch ….” He stopped by ram ‘s surprising answer , “ I will not tell him any thing I m the father and I have to safe guard my child … my children  , khush is matured like priya so I don’t have so much tension wd him, but pihu , she is being toxicated , right so there will be side effects m I have to get her out of that first , vikram bade se bade doctor ko bulao and call apeksha from Australia , I have decided some thing about my kid’s future “

“ koi bhi faisla jald baji mein maat le .. pihu cant stay wd out priya now , pihu ko idhar hi kahi …..” vikram stopped as ram said “ pihu ko priya se mein alag nahi karunga … priya ko mujse alag hona padega …..’

‘ what !!!!!, what the hell you are talking priya aur tu alag … no ram this can never happen ….” Vikram said ….

“ vikram …” priya called by his name …., vikram turned to see priya , she said “ agar humari beti ke liye humein alag hona pade , I will leave mr.kapoor …”

Ram looked up to see priya , she walked to him and said “ pihu abhi hons mein hi hain app ke barein mein pooch rahi thi , app gussa toh nahi hoo usse yahi pooch rahi thi , plz app jo soch rehe hain I know app kya soch rehe hain itnaa toh app ko samjhti hoon , pihu ko maat boliye abhi , she will feel more guilty , ram yeh faisla abhi hum dono ke beech mein hi rehne dijiye , aur neha and vikram ke beech mein … aur kisi ko maat batayiye abhi iss barien mein …”

“ kya jaan gayi tum priya , about my decision ….” Ram asked ….

With a smile she said “ yahi ki mujhe app se door jana padega , for pihu , wd pihu , to Australia ….” Priya looked at ram , he hugged priya tight , he said “ I don’t want this priya I don’t want you to live apart from me , but I have left wd no option , sidd is now playing wd our kid , I cant allow him to do n e harm to her ….” Priya hugged him back .. the thought of getting separated from each other pierced them very badly .

“ why you two have to go apart from each other apeksha is there naa … she can take care of her …” neha said restlessly , breaking the hug , ram said “ neha , apeksha can take care of her but pihu needs her mother , and no one other than priya can match that place , without her that place will remain empty for her , and sidd and Ayesha will get chances to harm her again …

‘ then keep her in Mumbai naa…” neha pleaded …

“ neha …” priya said “ you heard naa what khush said , and in Mumbai , do you think pihu will remain safe , sidd and Ayesha will always be behind her now , coz she knows now that the disco has an illegal racket of drugs, will they remain quiet … no … we have to do this , and I m wd mr .kapoor in this matter …” priya seconded ram ….

“ vikram bolo naa kuch …” neha pleaded ….

“ haan ram give it a second thought please I mean tum dodno ek dosrein ke bina I mean how … you will..” vikram stopped , by ram he showed his hand signaling him to stop as he saw the family heading towards them only … ram said “ we will talk later … behave normal ….”

“ beta , khush kaha hain ….”  Kk asked ….

“ wo gari mein hain ….” Ram said …

“ beta ,” kk came near priya , caressing her head she asked priya to come wd them for some rest .

“ naa … maa meri bacchi jab tak uss ICU mein hain …  I will not move from here …” priya stood firm by ram .

‘ beta , tune dekha naa use , theek hain wo , ghar jaa beta rest leke aa jana ….” Sudheer asked priya to go home , he suggested the same to ram …

“ papa , buda maat maniye ….mein priya ke saath hoon , hum dono hi rehenge hi idhar , ek baar pihu ICU se bahar aa jaye , hum dono ghar jayenge .. but abhi maat boliye ….” Ram said to sudheer ….

“ ok beta” sudheer was about to leave, he stopped  when priya said “ papa ….”

‘ haan beta bol ..’ sudheer turned to priya …..

‘papa khush ko apne saath le jayiye apne paas rakhiye ga … wo bhi bahut , tensed hain …’ priya said

“ haan priya ,” Natasha knows the truth , but she don’t knew that ram priya also know all , “I will take care of him ..” nuts tried to cheer her up a bit , priya smiled ….

“ vikram neha … tum dono bhi jao … ridhimaa aur Sammy akele hai ghar mein ….” Ram asked them to leave too..

“ rahul go and take care of your brother and sister and rimaa you too go wd rahul today ,” vikram looked at ram and said “ ek jhapar khayega , kya pihu sirf tum dono ki beti hain hum dono ki kuch nahi lagti wo … chal ander baithte hain ….”

ram circled his hand around priya , and walked inside wd neha and vikram .they first went to the ICU , getting update from the doctors vikram and neha took ram and priya to the empty cafeteria , vikram and ram took down the chairs and asked the ladies to settle down , ram got coffee from the automatic wending machine for priya , and nevi .

sipping his coffee vikram said “ ram , soch ek baar you are going to fast, I mean priya ko pihu ke saath bhejne ki kya jharoorat hain , apeksha is there ….”

“ tune apeksha ko call kiya …” ram asked …

“ haan … wo kal sham tak pahuch jayegi ….” Vikram informed him …

“ dekh vikram , sidd mujhe kuch karta mein maan leta , priya ya pihu , no buddy I cant take it , no …. Meri zindagi hain wo , and abhi pihu ko kisi ki jharoorat hain , then wo hain priya ki ….” Ram leaned back …

“ I m not getting why you are so adamant to send her from india …” neha asked …

“ because od sidd and Ayesha ….” Priya said , “ neha , sidd aur Ayesha jab janti thi pihu udhar hai cant they inform us , they are trying to play wd my daughter , itni muskil se toh mili hain , and I don’t want to take her simplicity away from her , idhar rehegi toh kisi naa kisi tareeke se sidd ya Ayesha … kuch na kuch kartein hi rehenge …. We cant take risk ….”

Ram kept his hand on priya ….

‘ ek kuch bola toh doosra uska dil padh liya , kaise rahoge dono alag ….” Neha asked … and looked aside …..

Ram looked at priya , she looked back and smiled ……. , ram said “ pyaar kartein hain ek doosrein se , saath nahi honge toh kya hua pass toh honge …..” ram looked down to hide his pain ….

Priya said “ vikram neha …. Pihu ya kisi ko abhi batane ki jharoorat nahi hain … time ane pe sab ko bata denge ….”

“ hmmm…” they replied together …..

Ram priya smiled , hands on hands….. even the thought of living separately pained them , hurt them …. The smile broadened in their face just to consol each other , with a pain at heart ….
