Part 84

A new morning invaded their lives as the first sun ray kissed the mother earth , the sun beams invaded the bed room in the house boat , marking a new day … ram  opened his eyes , slowly , he smiled to see the view in front of him , he caressed priya’s hair who was fast as sleep resting peacefully her head on her man’s chest , holding her in his arms … ram slowly moved up without disturbing priya’s sleep …  ram made priya lie properly , covering her with the quilt , he draped the robe around himself and went to get fresh….

About few minutes later ….

 Priya snuggled in to the pillow , she opened her eyes , not finding ram there … she looked around to find her man , but her eyes failed to get a glimpse of ram … looking around once again she got confirmed that ram is not there … she remembered the last night completely , they had a wonderful moment together .. she smiled remembering the last night … she automatically blushed …. But where is ram she said in her mind , she called ram … “ mr.kapoor …. Mr.kapoor….’ she continued to call ram but even after 10 -15 times she didn’t got any response … priya sat up covering herself properly wd the quilt , now she looked around the bed and the floor , to get her nightie or robe to drape around herself , as she has to find ram .. but she failed to get any thing ….  It was clear to her then that ram has done this mischief to irritate her …. She tried to find any other clothing’s around , even she looked for ram’s kurta , but alas ram managed to get every thing away from her reach very smartly …  getting irritated she at last called ram by his name , rather she screamed out ram’s name …. “RAMMMMMM… RAMMMMM….”

Ram came into the room with the morning tea …. You woke up !!! he said , in  a casual manner that he does’nt even heard her calling him several times…

‘ don’t act smartly , mr.smarty ….” Priya said as she sat properly covering herself , she demanded her satins … ram smiled , he came and sat by priya , crossing his hand over priya , he leaned to priya , she leaned back to the bed rest …

“ I told you last night not to call me mr.kapoor as long as we are here … and you forgot ….!!!” He whispered …

“ plz give me my clothes …” priya begged ……

“ no …. I told you naa , not to call me mr.kapoor otherwise you promised me too , so I don’t let those people go so easily if they break their promises … and especially when it come to my wife I should never let her go so easily …” ram smiled weirdly , as he sat more closer to priya …

“ plz ram … let me …” she could barely complete , ram put his index finger on her lips …. Smiling he leaned closer and nuzzled along her neck , in reflex her hands moved across his back …. She pushed ram back , making him fall on the bed …. Ram smiled , he stood up taking out her nightie from the closet , he said “ fresh ho jao . .. I will arrange tea .. for us …” priya giving a sweet smile  said “ udhar dekhiye …” ram laughed … and looked aside …. Priya draping the nightie got out of the bed …. She went to get fresh ……

Mumbai ……

It was break fast time there at Sharma house …. After Ayesha has spoken harshly to sudheer , he don’t even talked properly wd any one .. shipra served food to sudheer , nutz and karthik sat across sudheer , they looked at each other ….

“ papa … “ karthik said , sudheer raising his hand tried to say that he doesn’t want to talk but sudheer felt low , he leaned back .. karthik called sudheer , nutz stood by sudheer placing her hand on his shoulder , shipra rushed from her chair to sudheer … sudheer winced his face in pain , he fainted off , there .. karthik shouted “ PAPAAAAAAAA…..”  nutz rushed towards the phone , she called the ambulance then and there ….

Within few minutes about 15 -20 mins , the sharmas are at the hospital , shipra is crying badly , nutz is there with her , karthik is moving to and fro in front of the emergency ward .. nutz has informed rishab and saumya ..they reached the hospital after a while … rishab came to karthik and wanted to know about sudheer ji , he nodded his head in dejection .. rishab stood there wd karthik , saumya sat by shipra , she cried even badly …..

Venice ……..

It was about to get morning there .. about 4 a.m then …

Pihu was not able to sleep , thoughts of vyom is not allowing her to sleep , and more than that , the guilt of hiding her and vyom’s friendship is not letting her sleep … she was sharing room with ridhima , khush and Sammy , rahul stayed back at india to accompany rimaa and to look after vikram’s business …

Pihu got out of the bed , she opened the door of the balcony and went there, khush , who was sleeping wd Sammy , heard the noise of the door , he woke up and looked at the empty space beside ridhima , sliping his feet in his slipper he walked to the balcony , he found pihu standing there leaning forward to the railing ….

“ n e problem ….” Khush stood by pihu … , she stood straight  wd a deep breath of sigh …  “kya hua ..” khush asked again …. Pihu turned to him and said ‘ would you mind if I share something with you now , which I should have shared with you earlier ….??”  In a confused state , khush asked what is pihu trying to say ..  pihu asked khush to sit on the chair … they settled down …

Holding khush’s hand …. Pihu said “ khush , you know , I take mom as my best friend  , and tu .. tuje …. Bhai , dost , sab kuch manti hoon .. I know when you will hear it , you will react …” khush stopped pihu , “ come to the point ..” he said …. Pihu bit hesitating said … “ I m in touch with Vyom Singhal ….”

“ WHAT !!!!!!!!” khush shouted !!!!!  as he stood up ….. pihu stood up , she asked khush to calm down .. but khush asked an explanation from pihu , why she did that … pihu made khush sit , and said “ listen … mujhe vyom accha ladka laga .. and that’s why I meet him .. and wo tune uss din mana kar diya tha naa papa ki nakal karne se , then I called vyom , ..” khush said immediately “ and he agreed …”

“ arey listen to mee naa ..’ pihu said .. khush looked aside , ignoring pihu ,  she tried to turn khush’s face to herself , but she failed , in  low tone he said “ nahi … I mean usne haa toh kiya .. but ….”

‘ that’s it pihu … this time I  will not hear you … yehaan se wapis jatein hi I will tell it to maa and papa … “ khsuh stood up …

“ arey !!!!! soon toh ….” Pihu was late ….  Khush rushed to the room , he slipped to the bed , covering himself wd the quilt he pretended to sleep , pihu went back to balcony ….  She kept on thinking what she should do …..

Kashmir ………    

Priya came and sat on the chair , at the balcony , ram was already there waiting for priya , he looked at priya and gave tea to her …

“ theek bana hain naa…’priya teased ram, he said that in so 15 years he has learnt at least to make tea .. and that she has certified once .. priya smiled and sipped her tea … priya looked at ram , as he extended some broachers to priya , she looked at them and wondered …

“ arey .. our next destination ..” ram said …

“ but its so long from here I m idhar hi toh theek se nahi rehe aur app idhar jane ke baat kar rehe hain ..’ priya said dropping the broachers on the table..

‘ if we don’t visit Ladakh  coming to Kashmir then , the trip will never called to be a complete one …priya ..” ram insisted her..

“ ya I know that ram , but baccho ke bina … hum ….” Ram pausing her said “ ek minute madam … they are also in a trip .. and we are not there wd them ….’

‘ but we had a trip over there when the kids were 10  I guess …..’ priya smiled …..

“ ok ok .. I promise you in a break I  will take the kids here ok .. now khush ….” Ram smiled .. priya smiled back ….. 

Mumbai ….

Outside the Emergency Ward …

The doctor came out …karthik rushed to the doctor , he seek an information about his father , the doctor looking at the family said “ aah… he had a massive heart attack … we have kept him under observation …  and we will be transferring him to the ICCU unit … and we cant say n e thing firmly now .. n e thing can happen … be patient and have faith on us and god ….” The doctor patting karthik’s back left from there .. karthik stepped back and sat on the floor , dejected , nutz rushed to him , she comforted him in her embrace , karthik looked at nutz helplessly , he said “ kya ho gaya .. sab theek tha …. Uss Ayesha ne … sab kuch … khatam kar diya … sab kuch …” karthik cried ….

Nutz looked back at shipra, tears are only running down her cheeks , nutz firming her grip said “ samhalo karthik , agar hum log toot jayenge then mummiji ka kya hoga ….”

‘ arey inhi ke liye hi th aaj yeh sab ho raha hain ..” karthik stood up and directly charged shipra , for sudheer’s ill health …. ,” agar inhone Ayesha ko sir pe chadha ke nahi rakha hota th kya uski itni himmat hoti .. yeh sab karne ko …”

Rishab …came and asked karthik to calm down ….  Karthik cried and hugged rishab … shipra stood up  and walked towards the exit of the hospital , nutz called shipra , and followed her , but she didn’t stopped …. She ignored nutz and left the hospital saying that she is all right and she needs some time alone …  nutz came and sat by karthik ….  She tried to calm her down… after few seconds , a nurse came and asked karthik to meet the doctor … karthik wiped his tears and with rishab he went to talk with the doctor ….

Samuya asked nutz to take care of karthik and she said that , she will take care of the kids , … nutz agreed wd her … saumya left from there ….

In the doctor’s cabin …..

Karthik settled there ….

“ look Mr.karthik , if I want , then I can say you many consoling words , but the reality lies some where else..” the doctor said , karthik impatiently asked the doctor to clarify what he was trying to say , the doctor leaning forward said “ mr .karthik , sudheer ji , he is not well , kabhi bhi kuch bhi ho sakta hain , but yes we are trying our level best … but he has to respond , jo wo nahi kar rehe hain , unka hons mein ana bahut jaruri hain … nahi toh … koi chances nahi hain ….”

“ what do you mean ?? koi chances nahi hain …” karthik shouted …. Rishab made him settle down and said “doctor , kuch bhi kijiye , kuch bhi ….  But sudheer uncle ko kuch nahi hona chahiye … plz doctor …”

“ we are trying our level best … but sudheer ji ka respond karna bahut jaruri hain …try to understand , aisa koi toh hain jo unke bahut kareeb hain .. jiski koi bhi baa two taal nahi pate hain … koi toh hoga …” the doctor said

“ priya di ….”  Karthik mumbled , the doctor  looked at him and said ‘ kya .. kaun….”  …. Rishab said about priya … the doctor suggested them to call , priya as soon as possible ….

Karthik and rushab came out of the cabin , they found nuts waiting for them , she came to them, rishab informed her what doctor has said . after hearing the whole story , nuts said “ we should call di .. I know wo ,,,, but koi chara bhi nahi hain ….”

“ nahi .. abhi nahi …. Ek baar baccho ko le kar ate hian … wo log bhi bahut kareeb hain uncle ki … sayed …. Un ki baatein soon ke .. wo respond karne lage …” rishab said … nutz agreed wd rishab …

 Kashmir …

Ram priya’s stay at house boat came to a sweet end … they came out of the boat , the car was waiting for them …  ram opened the back door , priya sat inside , ram got into the car next … ram booked a private SUV …..  ram asked the driver to start the journey … he pushed back the seat and leaned back …

“ 11 hours … right!!!!”  priya said …

‘haan plain land hota toh 4 hours but .. it’s a steep valley and trust me ,,.. the most beautiful journey is yet to come … and we will stay there for two days ….  And that will be the best day of our life …” priya gave her trade mark smile to him ..

Their journey started …. The music system played ………..

“Ghum hain kisi ke pyaar mein .. dil .. subhah sham …..”

Ram smiled and looked at priya , she said “ don’t suits on us ….” 

“really you mean to say .. tum kisi ke pyaar mein ghum nahi hoo….” Ram said … priya looked forward moving towards her husband … encircling her hand on his , she said “ wo toh hain … paar kiske liye hain wo hum jante hain …” she rested her head on ram’s arms , ram wrapped his arms around priya … 

The music system played kishore kumar classics , their journey continued wd music , scenic views , and their togetherness ……

Venice ….

The shergills with the kids , went out for a sight scenes , pihu tried to talk with khush but he every time neglected her , she felt alone …. They entered a restaurant for lunch , neha was asking the kids to place their orders , but  when she turned to pihu , she found her to be sad , she was sitting confined in herself , at the furthest chair of the table , neha walked to pihu , caressing her head , she sat by pihu and asked why she is sad … pihu with teary eyes , said “ I m missing mom …”

“ oh!!! Baby …” neha took pihu in her embrace , and said “ we will be back almost together , and baby ,  mamma used to be with you always naa … thode din papa ke saath rehne do …wo kya hain naa .. in love sometimes the couples need space from the world , jaise mein aur Vicky uncle … hum dono bhi jate hain naa , and then Sammy bhaiya and ridhima didi used to stay with you all naa …” 

Pihu looked up and said “ neha aunty … mujhe mamma se ek baar baat karni hain ….”

“ ok ..” neha said , taking out her phone , she dialed priya’s number but she found it to be switched off , and when she called ram , she found the number to be out of reach … pihu looked eagerly to neha , but after many tries neha failed to connect wd ram priya ….

“ sorry beta , wo they are at Kashmir naa .. and the signal is not so good there , so  I guess , its getting difficult to reach them , but don’t worry I will ask Vicky uncle to drop a voice msg to papa .. and when ever he will get that , he call back us …” neha tried to cheer up pihu , “ accha tell me what you want to have … lets have a look over the menu ….”  But she failed pihu was least interested in her food … 

Vikram came there he came to know about pihu.. he and neha went to call from a public place , to reach ram priya ….  Pihu sat there alone sad ….

Khush who was noticing pihu from a while , came and sat by her saying a hello to her .. pihu looked bluntly to her brother …

“ don’t look dumb .. pihu … I know why you are sad , meine sayad jada hi bol diya kal , but tell me one thing …. Do think you have done the right thing hiding the vyom issue … from maa ….” Khush looked for an answer from pihu , she nodded her head from left to right to say that she knew that she has not done the right thing ….

‘ then …. What you will do now …” khush asked ….

Looking straight to khush she said ‘ mamma ko jake hi sab bata dungi …”

“ that’s like my polar bear ,,,….” Khush hugged pihu , and said “ now cheer up , and see you have made uncle and aunty agitated too …”

‘ not me its because of you ..” pihu said ….

“ arey what I have done yaar …” khush asked , pihu stood up saying that if khush would have behaved properly that morning , then she would have not felt low , and alone …. Teasing khush , pihu went to find the shergill and ask them to calm down as she is now feeling al right …

Mumbai !!!!!

Sid’s office ,

Shipra came in , Ayesha was also there , she stood up seeing her mother disturbed ..

‘ kya hua maa..” Ayesha approached shipra …

“ sab khatam ho jayega ….” Shipra broke into cry  , Sid also stood up and walked to shipra ….

“ maa hua kya hain …..” Ayesha seek an answer … shipra with tears and heavy voice informed Ayesha about the ill health of sudheer .. and also added that he was thinking much about pihu and priya  after he had the argument with her … Ayesha fumed over shipra saying that if shipra thinks her to be responsible for sudheer’s ill health …. And she also said that if she thinks that then she is mistaking …  she is not responsible for sudheer’s ill health neither she could help her now , as she has many social programs lined up …

Shipra stepped back , as she heard her youngest daughter, with sad demise she left sid’s office ….. she walked to the main road , hiring an auto she went to the hospital ….

A blissful stay for ram priya ….. shergills get to know about sudheer ji ‘s ill health , they return wd pihu and khush for sudheer ji .. and later on ram comes to know about sudheer ji ‘s ill health … he decides to return immediately to Mumbai .. but he didn’t informed priya about the reason of their sudden cancelation of trip …
