Part 70

In Rimaa’s pent house , neha was sitting by pihu , the doctor is checking her , the doctor said “ I think we should shift her to hospital…”

“ sure” neha said … “ khush rahul take her down”

“ but mom ram uncle and priya aunty , they don’t know ….” Rahul stopped as neha said “ rahul .. as you are ram and priya’s god child , she is the same to us … so , what I or your dad will decide for her is for her good only do you get that ….”

“ yes … neha aunty is right … I cant see her like this any more …” khush came and took pihu up in his arms .. she was still unconscious he looked at her face , he felt like crying , he said “ chaliye …” rahul helped him ,… they left for the hospital , neha called vikram ..

That time vikram was with ram and priya , who are unknown to the truth , is heading to the pent house …  his phone rang , he received the call , through blue tooth device , “ haan neha ….”

“ where you are ..” neha hurried to the lift ..

“ baas we will reach there in 10 minutes ,,….”  Vikram smiled to hide his nervousness..

‘ we are taking pihu to city hospital take them there and don’t tell them n e thing now first take them bye …” neha disconnected the call …

Vikram gulped a lump in the throat and managing a smile he said “ I will kill neha ….”

“ oye !!!” ram said to him ..

“ de diya naa ek kaam ….abb ulta ghum ke jana padega … kya wo wine nahi le jaa sakti thi and that she wants it from her fav shop ….” Vikram lied ..

“ chalo naa vikram …” priya smiled leaning back to the seat ..

‘ hmmm ….” Vikram drove , ram and priya together said “ here …” when vikram drove into the city hospital …”

‘ idhar kya hain …..” ram said …. Vikram got down and gave the keys to rahul , he opened the back the door and said “ priya come down ….” Priya with freight came down , “ kya hua hain vikram …” rahul drove the car out from there …

“ chalo ander chalo ….” Vikram walked inside , ram and priya rushed behind him , neha was there wd khush .. seeing them coming inside , she stood up .. priya ran to khush seeing him , she said “ khush pihu kaha hain , tub hi gaya tha naa … party mein … bol …”

Khush looked down …..

‘ khush bacche kuch toh bol .. koi kuch toh bolo meri bacchi kaha hain .. wo theek hain naa….ram … pooch naa….” Priya’s sixth sense said that something happened wd pihu .. she clutched ram’s coat and said “ ram pihu kaha hain …”

Khush broke down … seeing priya crying for her daughter , priya and ram looked at khush which made them petrified even more ….  Ram came to khush and said ‘ where is pihu …”

Neha said “ fatty she is inside .. admitted…”

Ram and priya stood awe struck , priya stepped back and said “ WHAT !!! what happened to my child ….” She ran to neha …. , “ bolo neha … kaha hain pihu , kya hua hain use .. bolo naa neha bolo …..just speak out … plz …..”

Ram stood up and went to vikram , who said “ chal lets talk wd the doctor , ram knew that priya is no more within herself he has to keep his calm , he agreed wd vikram and walked from the lobby to the doc’s chamber , after rimaa…

“back in the lobby …’

“ bolo naa neha .. bolo naa … kya hua hain meri bacchi ko ….” Priya pleaded ….

“ khush give her some water first ….” Neha said to khush ….

‘ NO I DON’T WANT WATER I NEED MY DAUGHTER DO YOU GET THAT …” restlessly she said …. She  stood up … , neha stood up and taking her in her embrace she again made priya sit and said “priya , pihu is fine .. she is ok … I will tell you naa what happened to her …. Plz …. Calm down ….”

“ I want my daughter …” priya hugged neha and cried like a baby …. Khush ran to bring water … rahul came there , neha asked him to inform Karthik and nutz … he did as neha asked him to do ….

In the doctor’s cabin ….

Ram and vikram was waiting for the doctor , he came in introducing himself he said “ mr.kapoor I just guess how could you allow your teenage daughter to disco ….”

“ what …. Disco …” ram got stunned …

“ I m sorry you don’t know n e thing , then I either you are trying to hide the fact or you r daughter is too smart ….” The doctor said …

“ what the hell happened to my daughter ….” Ram asked restless …

“ toxication ,…. She has taken drugs ….. overdose …. Almost overdose , but thank fully this have not happened …..”

“ what !!! ram stood  up …..

He door opened and ram’s family doc came in , noticing him , the junior fellow stood up , the doctor , has checked pihu , he said “ if you don’t know him , then know him he is The Ram Kapoor with whom you are talking nonsense …”

‘ sorry sir ….” The junior fellow looked down …

“ leave it …..just tell me what happened to my baby ….” Ram took dr.shah’s hand in his …

“ come wd me mr.kapoor …” doctor shah … took ram , and standing outside of the icu he said “ she is being toxicated , but we don’t know , if she has taken it by her own or … some one has given it to her ….injected …”

“ what !!!!” ram stepped back …

‘ and .. we have to observe her .. for 24 hours then only we can say how much harm has happened to her ….’ The doctor looked at ram …. , who was in shock ….

“ mr .kapoor ….” Doctor kept his hand on his shoulder ….

‘ I m ok .. I m ok …..” ram stood up , “ doc .. my baby …. She is my everything , save her ,… plz …. I beg you …..”

“ there is no life threat mr.kapoor , but n e thing else , we have to check it , if she used to take it regularly or this is the first time we have to check ….” The doc said …., “ you can wait outside …. I better go inside … to her …”

Vikram said “ chal … priya ke paas chal …”

Ram thought of priya …. He controlled himself for her , he turned to see his so naughty and full of life daughter lying on the ICU bed unconscious between , the beeping of the machines … he walked to the lobby , priya who got calm ,  for a moment , she ran to ram standing infront of him she said “ ram , meri bacchi kaha hain .. hua kya hain use .. kahiye naa..” she asked gritting her teeth ….

“ priya .. calm down …” ram took her in his arms … priya pushed him and said “ where is my daughter … I want her only do you get that … I want my love .. I want my pihu ….” Ram took priya , and hugged her , she in his embrace sobbed badly and only spoke about pihu …..

After few minutes ,

Ram calmed her down , he gave her water , sat by her , and said “ priya …” he took her hand on his , neha and vikram are there , in the mean time , nutz and karthik also came there ….

Priya looked at ram , he said “ priya , what I m going to tell you now …. Listen carefully baby …”

‘ where is pihu ??” priya made crying face again …

“ baby …” he  wrapped his arm around her shoulder …. “ priya , baby , she is … inside ….”

“ where …” she pleaded an answer ….

Closing his eyes .. he said “ ICU …”  the three letters echoed into her ears like the world shattered for her , she kept mute for a moment , the world went blank for her …. And she collapsed into ram’s arm …..

“ PRIYAAAAAa……’ ram shouted , the family ran to them , neha took water and sprinkled on her face …priya got back to sense after few moments … the doctor asked her is she fine … priya sat up and remembered what ram said her …. She said “ kya hua hain meri bacchi ko ….plz tell me ….”

Ram was sitting by her , she looked at him and said “ plz mr.kapoor boliye …..”

“ priya ….” He stopped , taking courage to speak out he said “ priya … pihu has taken drugs …..”

“ what !!!!!” she was in a state of shock …. She said “ no this is not true ….meri bacchi … she cant take drugs no mr.kapoor this not true ……”

“ mrs.kapoor … calm down .. calm down .. I need your help … your are her mother you can tell me if she has taken this earlier any symptoms … plz help me ….” The doctor said …. , ‘ mr kapoor plz take mrs.kapoor to my cabin …..” he walked away from there ….

Ram asked priya to come wd him , priya wiping her tears , making herself strong to face the truth ,she went to meet the doctor wd ram …

Nutz and karthik asked khush what has happened … actually …. Neha and vikram also wanted to know what exactly happened …

“ khush … how pihu ended up in a the disco …” nutz asked , “ she went for vaishali’s brother’s sangeet right ….”

Khush looked down and nodded his head to speak out no ….. he looked down …. , “ she lied …”

“ aur tu janta tha ….” Karthik made him look at him and jerking him he said ‘ tu tha naa.. and you knew it naa…’

“ no mamu .. when I knew it she left for dico , but I didn’t know where she went neither I could reach Shankar kaka, unka phone bhi  le liya tha pihu ne …. I just thought ki pehle apna disco check kar leta hoon and when I got her she was unconscious …”

“ but why didn’t you called di and jiju” karthik shouted

“ mamu … I got nervous … I called rahul bhaiya first ….” Khush cried badly ….

Vikram made him sit and asked “ sidd and Ayesha they were not in the disco …”

“ they knew all…” khush cried even more , ‘ and I have to tell this to bade papa and maa…”

“ no not now ….” Vikram said , khush looked at him asking “ but why ….”

“ This is not the right time … let pihu come out from the shock , let her be safe , ram priya ki thodi tension kaam hone do , then we will let them know .. trust me ….” Vikram said …. Others agreed wd them ….

Doctor’s cabin ….

Ram priya distressed sat infront of the doc … the doc asked them …

“ do you ever found pihu .. little out of her mind , or she remains outside from home till late night ….”

“ no doctor my baby , never stays outside … late night … and rather I stay wd her always …” priya replied …

“ any kind of abnormality like if someone takes drugs regularly , kabhi naa kabhi ….” Doctor stopped as priya said restlessly , “ doctor  , she didn’t take n e thing … Monday se Friday she stays wd us and weekends the kids used to stay back wd their nana nani ….she is not a spoil brat what you are trying to say , bahut samhal ke bada kiya hain hum dono ne pihu ko ….”  Priya cried hell out of the world ….

“ mrs.kapoor … mrs.kapoor …” the doctor stood up giving her water he said “ it is not about spoil brat ,  I know her from childhood , but any kid , of 16-17 they get fascinated about this kind of things … mrs.kapoor , that’s why I m asking only … ok … tell me another thing ….”

“ jee …” priya looked up … ram was a silent listener only ….

“ pihu is a lefty ….” The doctor asked, ‘ is she mr.kapoor ??”

“ no doctor she is not a lefty ….” Ram replied …

‘ god then … mr.kapoor , she has been toxicated , and some one may have injected , its on her right hand .. we have to ask her very carefully , you two can do that only …” priya cuts in asking “ meri beti  kab ayegi hons mein … yeh toh boliye ….”

“ aa jayegi mrs.kapoor  … bahut jald aa jayegi don’t worry ….” The doctor consoled them ………and asked them to wait outside … ram took priya outside , he made her sit on a chair , and himself sat by her,  “ priya ….” He called her …

“ today I failed ram , I failed as a mother , meri parvarish … galat sabit ho gayi …”  priya uttered …

“ no baby … no … she is alright and our daughter cant never do such things no I don’t believe this to be true …’ ram tried to consol her …

“ I do believe in her ram , but she lied naa , to me to you , and went to disco , when I asked her not to go …. App hi boliye .. kiss cheez ke liye roka mein use , jo chaha wahi diya , uske generation ke saath kadam se kadam mila ke chalne ki koshish kiya meine … phir bhi wo …” tears rolled down her cheeks …

“ priya she needs us now … plz samhalo apne app ko …..” ram said , in caring voice …

“ I know , but I cant forgive myself , how could I trust her so easily ….” She gave a pause and said ‘ or its my fault that I trusted her so easily … I took her as my friend not my daughter …”

“ priya ….” Ram rested his hand on her’s , she continued “ I failed as a mother … just look at her ram …” she broke down into tears and said , “ meri bacchi jo ek second ke liya chup nahi baithti ..,… aaj wo ICU mein bejaan padhi huyi hain … and you want me to stay calm , meri wo bacchi jiski honton se kabhi muskuhurahat … chupti nahi hain .. wo aaj phiki padi huyi hain and you want to consol me ….”

‘ nahi priya aisa nahi hain …. I m….” ram stopped when priya stood up and said “ toh kaisa hain mr.kapoor , kaisa hain , why don’t you accept the fact that I m not a good mother ….i failed as a mother” She stressed out her last few words very firm ….

“ priya ..” he stood up and took priya into his embrace , she wept badly .. ram was also shattered but , for priya he maintained his calm , his patience … he stopped his emotions … from flowing out …..
