It was almost dark as ram priya came out of the airport , ram saw vikram waiting for them , he walked with priya towards him , vikram looked at priya , who was in deep shock still then .

“priya …” ram called her , she looked up , ram continued “ priya hospital chalein ..” she looked blankly .. ram asked her to be strong , as sudheer ji needs her most … they get on to the car , and vikram drove to the hospital , ram was sitting by vikram in the front seat , while priya was sitting on the rear seat. Vikram could see priya’s pale face , he looked at ram , he nodded back to vikram to keep calm …

After few minutes they reached the hospital , ram took priya inside , karthik stood up seeing his sister there , he ran to her and hugging her he cried like a kid , ram was about to console karthik but he got surprised when he heard , “ bhai … sab theek ho jayega .. mein aa gayi hoon naa…” from priya for her brother ,

Priya made karthik look at her , wiping her tears she said “bass … abb rona bandh kar let me meet papa … aur doctor se bhi baat karni hain ….hain naa..bol…”  karthik looked at priya and nodded in agreement . priya smiled and walked to the lobby , she saw shipra sitting exhausted pale with neha and nutz .. priya walked to her , keeping her hand on her mother’s shoulder  she made her firm grip. As shipra looked up , priya smiled and said “sab theek ho jayega maa ….mein abhi aati hoon …”

“karthik papa kaha hain ..” priya looked back , karthik took priya to the doctor’s cabin … the doctor took priya to the ICU , she came inside , saw her father , lying senseless , she took a deep breath and sat on the stool , taking shudheer’s and on her’s she said “kya papa … aap mujhe strong rehne ko kehte hain .. aur khud …” priya kept on looking at sudheer , she stood up , caressing her father’s head , she said “papa … jo bhi hua hain , app ko jo bhi baat pareshaan kiya … agar app mujhe nahi batayenge toh mein kaise solve karungi use …haa.. aur wo batane ke liye app ko hons mein ana hoga naa….”

She sat back on the stool , and said “papa … jab bhi mujhe koi bhi takleef hua , koi bhi takleef hoti hain … mein app ke paas aati hoon , aur aap chutki mein meri sari paresaani door kar dete hain … aur aaj job aap ko meri jharoorat hain … mujhe aap bata bhi nahi rehe hain …trust me papa … mein kisi aur se nahi sunungi kya hua tha .. kyun hua tha … app se sunungi …app se … beti hoon app ki … wapis aa jayiye papa … abhi bahut ladna hain mujhe , aur meri takat , aap ho …. Wapis aajayiye papa … app ki beti aa gayi hain  naa  sab theek ho jayega … jaise aaj tak papa beti milke sab kuch solve kiya hain .. yeh bhi kar lenge , par papa akeli nahi kar payungi .. plz ….”  

The doctor came and stood by sudheer’s bed , he looked at the monitor , and then looking at priya he said “mrs.kapoor … abb aap bahar chaliye … dekhte hain kal tak koi improvement hota hain ki nahi … plz mam…” 

Priya stood up and for the final time she caressed sudheer’s hair and left the ICU … 

Ram was waiting for her just outside the ICU ….

‘are you OK!!!” ram asked her …

“Mujhe kya hoga …” priya smiled as she walked to karthik … ram looked surprising at his wife

“kya hua .. kuch nahi hua hain papa ko … kyun ro raha hain .. chal ghar jaa ..maa ko le jaa .. mein kal aati hoon and no rona dhona… bachhe kaha hain …” priya asked …

‘wo kapoor mansion mein ..saumya k saath..’karthik replied..

‘theek hain .. I will look after them abhi chal maa ko lekar ghar jaa…chal..” priya walked from there wd karthik ….

Ram turned to the doctor and introducing himself , he asked about sudheer ji’s health and he asked the doctor to do everything possible for sudheer ji …

Back in the Lobby …..

Priya came and sat by shipra , she looked at priya and cried like a kid , priya said “kya hua maa .. kuch nahi hua hain papa ko jald theek ho jayenge …”

“sab mere liye hua hain sab mere liye ..” shipra cried ..

“kisi ke liye kuch nahi hua hain … no one is responsible for papa ….. baas aab ghar jao .. aur chup chap khake so jana … theek hain ..mein kal ayungi ..’ priya looked at Natasha then and said “ nutz le jaa inn dono ko , mein baccho ko dekh lungi ….theek hain .. kal aati hoon mein subhah …ok ..”

Nutz nodded  priya made shipra stand .. she helped her to reach the car , and aked karthik to take care of shipra … and not to get weak only thinking of papa …nutz drove from the hospital ….. priya came back to the lobby , and walking straight  to ram she asked him to take her to the doctor , ram took her to the doctor’s cabin …..

They settled infront of the doctor , priya asked the doctor about sudheer’s health and about his present condition , the doctor said that sudheer is bit stable now and they are trying their best for sudheer , the doctor also asked them to leave to their respective homes , and revisit in the morning …and if any development in sudheer’s health happens , he will inform them over phone, ram gave his card to the doctor and asked him to call at his number  any time … ram  with priya came out from the doctor’s cabin … ram looked at priya who waled firmly to the lobby , she found her kids sitting there…clearing her throat , priya said “chalo baccho gari mein jakein baitho … ghar jana hain ki nahi ….” Pihu and khush looked at priya , they stood up …

“arey … aise kyun dekh rahi hoon ..ghar jana hain ki nahi .. go and seat in the car we are coming…..” priya looked at ram and asked for the car keys … ram threw the car keys to khush , the kids left for the car ….

After the kids left , neha and vikram came to ram priya , and asked them to call them when ever they will need them …  priya smiled and said that surely they will inform them , ram priya left for the car , after neha and vikram ….

On the roads in Mumbai !!!

Ram was driving the car , priya is sitting by his side , the kids are sitting on the rear seat …

‘ mamma …”phu started …. Priya’s concentration broke from the moving city and she said “hmmm…”

“nanu …theek hain ??what happened to him … why he is so ill…” pihu asked …

“pihu … abhi mein baat nahi karna chahti .. your mother is not like others that I will make wild guesses .. and its an issue of my dad ….” Priya replied very seriously ..

‘mom I was just trying to share your pain …” pihu said

“pihu .. you are not so grown up , that you will interfere between the adults …’ priya replied …

“mom . I don’t mean to say that .. I mean just …” pihu stopped as priya said in between her , “ pihu .. plzzz….” Pihu leaned back , khush looked at her and asked her to keep quiet …

At Night …

In the dinner table ,

Ram didn’t left priya alone for a while , he noticed her each and every movement , in the dinner table , she was busy feeding the juniors kapoor and Sharmas.

“sudheer nanu ko kya hua hain … tai ji …” chikoo asked , priya wd a smile said “ kuch nahi …’

‘toh wo .. hospital mein kyun hain …’ ahana asked back priya , she turning to her niece , said “ jab aap school se aa ke thak jaatein ho , jab aap ka back to back  exams hote hain … app ghar aake tiered ho jatein hoo naa…” 

The kids nodded back yes to her , “so …nanu ka bhi exam tha .. wo thak gaya hain .. and jaise app log rest karte ho , he is also taking rest for somedays ,”

“ par bua , hum log toh itne long nahi sote hian …” bunty asked …

“ beta .. app log chote ho .. app logo ke paas bahut bahut energy hota hain isi liye thodi si neeeni se hi app log phir se fresh ho jatein hoo … par dada ji toh old hain …unhe thoda jada nenni ki jharuraat hain …”  priya smiled as she ended …

“ dadu kab ayenge ghar bua …” ahana hugged priya and asked …

“bahut jald aa jayenge … beta ..” priya hugged back ahana and kissed her  head …..  the other two kids said “this is cheating hum logo ko pyaar hi karte hoo app …”  priya smiled and extended her hand to the kids … she hugged the kids , the kids smiled and hugged her….

“chalo … chalo sab …. Aaj hum log di aur bhai ke bachpaan ke room mein soyenge ….” Priya stood up , behind her the kids jumped and ran upstairs … priya shouted “brush karlo ….”

Priya then looked at pihu , khush , who were looking at priya blankly , priya raising her eye brows looked t them , they didn’t reacted , she clapped in front of them , ad said “WHAT???”

The elder kapoor kids looked down , priya asked them to finish dinner and have a good sleep , she looked at ram and said that she will come after making the kids sleep … ram nodded in argument , priya left…

After priya left ,

“ thank god I thought mamma …’ she stopped as ram said “ which you don’t know , don’t comment …on it…” 

“but papa, I was just saying that mamma is al right …. Nothing else..” pihu replied in clarification..

“ all right !!! she is totally broken down .. pihu .. she is …” ram stood up and went upstairs …

“ aisa kya kaha meine …. Dadi …’ pihu asked Krishna ji …

“ jo tumhe nahi pata , you should not , speak about that beta …. And ram is not angry with you beta , he is concerned about priya , yeh sach hain …priya abhi toot chuki hain … bilkul bikhar chuki hain …..bilkul …. Tum khana finish karon and so jao … priya theek ho jayegi dheere dheere …” Krishna kapoor also left the dinner table…

Pihu and khush sat there , alone ….

In Ram Priya’s Room …

Ram was sitting on the bed , priya came out of the changing room and slipped beside him .. ram kept the book aside , switching off the bed side lamps , he lied down , covering his eyes with his arm he said “ priya …. Mujhse bhi apna dard share nahi kar sakti tum …”

“ good night mr.kapoor , neend aa rahi hain mujhe ….. I don’t feel like talking ..” priya replied …

Ram turned aside  and priya other side ….

It was late at night …..

Ram turned aside and found priya’s  place empty , he sat up on the bed , and noticed priya , standing by the window .. he slipped his feet in the slippers and walked to her , he kept his hand on her shoulder , he said “ priya ….”  She looked down , as she wiped her tears ….

“what do you think of priya I cant get your pain .. cant I feel how much you are in pain…. How badly you are crying inside … mein janta .. hoon you can’t cry infront  of them …” ram turned priya to himself , as he continued “ priya .. mere paas toh roo sakti hoon apne dil ko halka kar sakti hoon … mere saath toh apna dard share kar sakti hoon … kabhi agar aisa bhi hua naa priya tum mujhe kuch keh nahi payi … then also ek baat yaad rakhna … mein samjh jayunga …. Kyunki … tumhari hare k saans ko mein padh sakta hoon priya …..”

Priya threw herself in his arms , clutching his kurta , she cried out her pain which she was hiding from everyone , when she saw distressed karthik , when she saw broken shipra when she meet a senseless sudheer , fighting for his life …  she clutched ram’s kurta even more tighter and cried …. Ram hold her back … in his arms , “ro lo priya , jitna rona hain ro lo , halka karo apne dil ko ….nahi rokunga mein tumhe ”

“ nahi dekh sakti mein papa ko aise ram ….” Priya yelled as she cried , even more .. ram didn’t stop her from crying … he let her pour her heart out … they stood still there , in the same position , priya cried badly in his arms , while ram hold her in his arms as tight as he can….

It was almost morning …..

Ram with priya in his arms , were sitting , on the bed , ram caressed her hairs , she snuggled into his chest , ‘ papa theek ho jayenge naa ram ?’

“ haan priya , papa bilkul theek ho jayenge , abhi to unhe , pihu khush ki shaadi bhi dekhni hain …. Unhe aise kuch ho sakta hain ….. bolo …’ ram looked at priya , she moved her face up , ram smiled … she again snuggled into him ….

‘ thodi der ke liye so jao abhi … mein utha dunga tumhe ….” Ram asked priya to sleep , as he made her lie down properly . He leaned near her , threading her fingers in his hairs she said “ app bhi so jayiye thodi der e liye , sone kaha diya app ko mein …aur app ke kharatein ke bina neend kaha aati hain mujhe ram …”

Ram smiled , and placed a soft peck on her forehead , priya kissed him back on his cheek … ram lied down by her side , priya climbed to his chest, ram after putting the alarm , took priya near her , slowly both of them drifted off to deep slumber …

Next Morning …

Priya after getting fresh , came downstairs she saw Ayesha and siddhant there at the dine …. Priya came and looing at the breakfast table , shouted “bansi kaka … bansi kaka …’

The elderly help came running to priya ….. “yeh kya hain …..” priya said pointing to the breakfast table …. “abhi tak breakfast ready kyun nahi hain … meine app ko kal menu bata diya tha naa…”

Bansi kaka , looked down , and then said “ wo mam , sidd sir , aur…..’ priya sopping him said ‘ bansi kaka … app ko ek baat clear kar deti hoon mein aaj …. Iss ghar mein wahi hoga jo mein kahungi …is that clear ..bansi kaka ….”

“ yes mam…’ bansi kaka 

‘ abhi jayiye … get the break fast ready , and ..’ priya looked at Ayesha and siddhant and continued “ jo mein menu dungi …. And jo mein kahungi ..iss ghar mein waho hoga …. Nothing else than that …. Abhi ke liye meine dekh liya ….. but not from the next moment ….app jaiye break fast ki taiyaari kijiye ….” Priya asked bansi kaka to leave , as bansi kaka was leaving , Ayesha asked for her omlet …. Priya raising her voice said “ aaj omlet sirf baccho ke liye hain … not for the adults ….”

“ yeh chal kya raha hain …kha pee bhi nahi sakte…’ Ayesha … rushed to priya ….

Priya turned to Ayesha and sshhh ed her , “ agar app ko koi problem hain … you can leave … and if …. You want to stay here ….. you have to follow my rules ….” Priya felt that the family is there ..already , she turned back , and looking at them , she said “ I never interfere in issues of kapoor industries …. And every one of you follow what mr.kapoor instructs you .. same here .. u all will do that , what I or maa will say ….rather I will also do that what maa will ask me to do ….” 

‘priya …beta … iss ghar mein wahi hoga jot um chahti hoo ..sab ko wahi manna padega ..rather ram ko bhi …’ Krishna kapoor said …

“ mein kab mana karta hoon maa….” Ram settled on the head of the family chair , in the dine ….

Priya looked at sidd and Ayesha , they were looking weirdly at priya . Priya saw bansi kaka and other two helps coming with the break fast , she said ‘ and another thing , jab tak , maa ya mr.kapoor iss ghar ki head , table pe baith nahi jatein , no one dare to order n e thing ….”

Ayesha sat down and mumbled “ yeh ..koi army camp hain kya ….’

‘ no darling ….” Priya came to her , she continued ‘ and …” priya stood up and moving to her chair , she said “ with out any valid reason no one will get their meals served in their bed room …” she sat down …

‘what !!!” sidd shouted

“oh !! I forgot …. Chillana maat … if you have a problem .. leave …” priya said ….

Ayesha and siddhant left the dinning table ….  And rushed out from the kapoor mansion …

Priya looked back to the stunned kids , and samuya and rishab , while Krishna kapoor has already settled down there …. , priya said “ arey ..app log aise kyun kharein hain … baithiye …..”

Pihu , khush settled down … , saumya and rishab also settled down , priya looked at her kids and said “waise the rules that I make , or dadi will make will go for you two too … only junior will be exempted from it …..” 

‘mom ..but …” pihu has to stop , as priya sshhh---ed her and said “ I m not going to consider …do your break fast …” 

Ram couldn’t control his smile , he smiled , rather laughed , priya poking him said “hans kyun rehe hain app …” 

‘no I was thinking … ki sure … tumhari … hitler ke ..saath ….” Ram laughed , the kids laughed with ram , priya raising her voice said “ chup !!!! finish your break fast , and mr.kapoor … mujhe hospital jana hain ..and yes … meri hitler ke saath connection tha , rather mein hi hitler thi …”

Ram and the kids stopped laughing , the family concentrated in the breakfast …

Priya in her mind said “ papa … sab suna meine … abb Ayesha aur siddhant ko saza mein dungi ….iske liye agar mujhe sab se sakti se pesh ana pada , mein wahi karungi , but I will not let , sidd and Ayesha  to win ….”  She looked down to her plate and continued with her food ……
