Part 80

Kapoor Industry ….

Ram sitting was in his cabin , he was in deep thought , his eyes were fixed on the picture of priya … he was spinning the paper weight , he leaned back to chair … closing his eyes he exhaled a deep breath …. The other second , he stood up … and walked out of his cabin , jenny stood up seeing her boss rushing out of the cabin , ram walked past jenny , he stopped , and came back to jenny , he said “jenny I will not be a office today , but if priya mam calls and asks for me then tell her that i m busy in meetings , and I have loads of meeting lined up today .. baki I think you can handle … and this is an order , from your boss , its your duty to follow word to word …’ ram didn’t gave jenny time to defend herself he walked downstairs ….

Kapoor Mansion ….

Priya was busy in the kitchen .. saumya took the courage and came to priya , she said “ mein kar doo …” priya looked at saumya and said “ hmmm … kar de … wo sabji dekh le ….” Saumya went near the gas oven …. Opening the lid of the container she said “ bhabi all ok naa…”

“ means ..” priya said without looking at saumya ..

“ I mean bhappa and you .. all ok naa…” saumya choked as she said , she knew priya’s anger she has seen it earlier .. when priya’s anger showered over ram …

‘ hmm ..sab theek hain .. hum dono ke beech kya galat ho sakta hain ….” Priya could barely complete the sentence …. Neha said standing at the door , “ these says that all are not ok , with you two …”

‘ neha . tum kab ayi ..” priya said …

“ saumya I think you can handle the households ….” Neha asked , saumya answered positively nodding to neha . neha looked at priya and said “ then you come with me , khush is also your son priya … and you have to think about him too .. about his admission … and I think you are skipping it totally ….”

“ oh!!! I have totally lost it ….” Priya removed her apron , she looked at saumya and asked her to take care of the household works …. She left wd neha , in her car…..

In the car….

“so have you listed up any colleges for khush …..” neha asked …

“ hmmm….” Priya was inattentive to neha ,

“ where are you ???” neha asked ….

‘ nothing … I mean yes I have listed two three institutes for khush … lets start wd the parent school itself …” priya said …

“ I have abetter idea …’ neha stopped the car , she called rahul , “ rahul kaha hain ….” Neha asked …

‘ mom I m at home you no naa I have taken a day off from dad …” rahul said …

“ then its superb there is a list on my study table take it and collect forms for khush from there .. right now and its an order get that …” neha said …

“ ok .. now I cant deny a work related to either pihu or khush .. it will done by the evening ,… but mom why not our school , it is  the best ….” Rahul asked …

“ I know its best baas …. Get the forms , cant we afford the forms haan ….” Neha shouted …

‘ ok ok don’t over react I will get that by the evening and I will take those to kapoor mansion , or to you …” rahul said …

‘ take it to kapor mansion .. I will be wd priya I have some work .. ok …” neha said ….

‘ ok that will be great and mom take care , umar ho rahi hain … itni gussa sehat ke liye accha nahi hain mom ….” Rahul disconnected the call to skip his mom’s dant , he laughed and went to change …

Back in the car ….

“ yeh ladka naa ek din pitega buri tarah mujse ….” Neha said ..igniting the car …

“ abb rahul jaa raha hain toh … drop me to kapoor mansion ..’ priya said ..

“ no you are coming wd me .. to the club , I need to talk wd you rather you need to talk wd me a woman to woman talk darling … why you are looking so exhausted … why priya .. what is cooking between you and ram … vikram told me that day you two are fighting , and I mean why what happened priya … all are ok .. and if you two will be so upset … then what will pihu do , after all she will the biggest sufferer ,…. Priya think about that .. plz priya … “ neha said … as she stopped at the traffic …

‘ I have thought a lot and taken a decision ….” Priya looked at neha , and neha exchanged a look telling her “ should I invite you to disclose it …”

“ I don’t want to part pihu from the family from ram ….i cant leave wd out him ….’ Priya covered her face …. In her palms ….

“ oh !!! my god !!!! relieved ….” Neha hugged priya …. But the cars horns blew , the traffic was open …. Neha ignited the car and drove …. She looked at crying priya and said “ priya .. I know it’s a big decision , but I was never up for it .. no priya .. she is a kid , if we will suppress her , she will get more arrogant , she is in a age where all seems to be wrong either than the kid itself and its friends .. and that only happened to pihu …. But she is very sensible like you and she didn’t step back to accept her own fault … so let her accept the fault not ran away from there …” neha stopped the car in a parking arena …

“ but who will make ram understand that .. he is still struck to the faults done by me …. And pihu , he is not in a mood to move from his decision … now I feel there is something else behind this ….” Priya said , as the ladies walked into the club ….

“ wht !!!!” neha said .. sitting on the pool side chair .. the waiter came , neha said “ two blue lagoons please…” neha leaned forward , she said ‘ are you mad , tum ram pe shak kar rahi hoo …. Pagal ho gayi hoo tum priya ….”

“ mein shak nahi kar rahi hoon … I know him , but mein ,…. Mein frustrated ho gayi hoon mere liye jaise time hi nahi hain unke paas baith ke do baatein kab huyi hain dono ki wo bhi yaad nahi hain mujhe .. I know bacche humari top priority hain par , wo aise busy rehte hain business ke kaam mein … and .. ghar aate hain thak ke .. pata nahi how it happened wd me .. meri poori frustration nikal gaya unke upar … kya karoon mein … “ priya looked down ….

Neha pulled her chair to the side of priya , taking her hand on her’s she said .. ‘ priya ram busy tha I know , but same feeling usmein bhi toh hain … bahut pyaar karta hain tumse …’ priya cuts neha and said “ please neha , abb mr.kapoor wo pehle wale ram nahi rehe , jo meri ek baar bulane se daure huye chalein ate the ….”

“ priya .. tum aise kyun soch rahi hoon … humesha ram tumahrein saath rehta hain …. Bahut pyaar karta hain tumse ..’ neha said …

“ saath hain … par pass hain neha … ??” priya looked at neha and said , “ abhi toh lagta hain … mein apne pati ke saath nahi … The Ram Kapoor ke saath rehti hoon …. Shirdi gayi ek baar k liye nahi bola , priya .. mein bhi chalunga .. ek baar ke liye nahi , shirdi bulaya , par nahi aye .. pihu ka health ka fikar mujhe bhi hain , but I wanted to spent few time with her and ram …. And yes I  m getting frustrated yes I m …” priya said ….

The waiter came to serve the mocktails .. the ladies stayed quiet as the finished their drinks in few minutes …. Priya wanted to leave for Her home … neha didn’t denied priya , they left the club for Kapoor Mansion …

Kapoor mansion ……

Ram walked into the hall , he straight walked to his bedroom , he didn’t find any one there , he again came down calling priya by her name … kk came out and asked ram why he is calling priya so impatiently … ram said that he has some important work wd priya . but kk informed him that priya is not at home then , ram requested kk to send priya to his study whenever she will be there … he left for his study …

Pihu noticed her dad from the staircase … she turned and walked back to her room ..

After a while priya came back to the kapoor mansion , she was about to climb stairs , a butler came and informed her that kk has asked her to visit her when ever she will come back to home , priya without wasting time went straight to kk’s room , she knocked at the door …

‘ kaun ..” kk said …

“ maa mein ..” priya answered ….

“ ander aa jaa beti … aur darwaza bandh kar dena …” kk said …priya obeyed her mother in law …

“ baitho idhar beta …” kk showed her side to priya , she sat looking down …

‘ from past few days I can sense all is not ok between you and ram , why beta ??” kk asked , priya looked up wd a blank and blunt look … kk putting her hand on her shoulder said “dekh beta sab pata hain mujhe , ram ke saath sab theek nahi hain tera …. Aaj bhi ghar aaya toh tuje hi dhoond raha tha jaise humesha se dhoondta aya hain …… par there was a difference in the past , na hi ram nahi tum dono mein se koi khush nahi hain ….”

Priya didn’t answered yet ….

Kk exhaling a deep breath said “ see priya , I don’t want to interfere between you and ram , you two are matured enough and I believe that you two can sort out your differences , and I will only wish to see you and ram happy again as we used to see you earlier… that I wanted to tell you and I also want to inform you that ram is waiting for you in his study .. go and meet him ….” Kk stood up and went to the window … priya silently stood up m she left the room for ram’s study , and in few seconds she reached there ….

Priya knocked at the door …. From inside ram asked the visitor to come in ….

Priya came inside , ram looked at her .. he scanned his wife , and said “ good afternoon … I will not  hurt your dignity by asking you where you were ? but I want to inform you that I have taken my decision and for that I was finding you , and to my surprise you were not here then , ok its not so late , (ram looked into his watch) I think all are now there for lunch , so will take the pain to rejoin me at the dine , I will declare my decision there only ….’

Priya maintained her silence she turned back and walked towards the dine accompanied by ram .. they sat on their respective chairs , pihu came down stairs wd khush , they wished their parents good afternoon … they wished them back , and one by one all the family members were there at the dine …. The butlers were about to serve the food when ram stood up and said ‘ attention everyone please..”

The family members looked at ram …

“ aaj subhah , priya has decided something for pihu , and asked me for my final verdict … and she has promised that what ever I will decide and ask her to do , she will do without any further argument …. Right priya ??” ram smiled looking at priya … , she nodded back a yes to him …

‘ ok then , let me tell you what priya asked me .. to think on , its about pihu and Australia … and her decision was ….” Ram looked at pihu who was looking down closing her eyes tightly … ram continued “ priya wanted pihu to stay … at india and study , priya wants pihu to learn from her mistake , not to ran away from the mistake , priya wants pihu to grow happily wd the family but not without the family …. She wanted her to be wd her hero … not wd out her hero ….”  Ram smiled …

Pihu jumped and hugging priya she said ‘ thanks mamma thanks …..”

“ I m not done pihu … your mom has to accept my each and every word .. right now …. About my final decision …” ram smiled wickedly …

“ pihu sit quiet baby ..’ priya spoke for the first time … pihu obeyed her mom … ram said “ thank you …” he waited for a second , he left his chair and walking to priya he said “ I have decided what I should do ….’  He stopped by priya’s chair , he leaned bit forward supporting the chair and said ‘ that I agree wd priya ….. and pihu will not go any where ….’

Pihu now finally jumped and hugged ram , thanking him a millions of times …. Not letting her father to move ,, the family got back the life , but only one person among them i.e mamaji is not happy , he took his phone and msged sidd .. “ bala nahi tali ….”

Ram said “ but but but … I have one condition ….” Pihu looked at ram , and said “ papa wht condition .. I will obey what ever you and mamma will say …”

“ really , does your mother thinks the same ….” Ram looked at priya , she looked down …. Pihu looked blankly at her parents, kk said “ beta tu kehna kya chahta hain ….’

“ maa mein jo kehna chahta hoon its very simple .. priya has to leave wd me right now right here …..and she has said me whatever I will decide , she will accept it without any argument ….”

Priya turned to see ram , she looked shocked , priya while  stammering said “ r..ram … how can … I mean …” ram pauses her and said “ I m not asking for your approval , I m ordering you… got it ….” Ram looked furiously at priya , she gulped a lump in her throat …. And freeze at her sit …

Ram looked at kk and said “ maa agar mein priya ko kuch dino ke liye yehaan se le jau , kya mein kuch galat kar raha hoon ….”

Kk smiled and said  “ nahi beta tu le jaa priya ko jaha tu chahien le jaa beta …”

Ram then made pihu and khush stand , and holding them in his arms he said “ kya tum dono ko apne papa ke upar bharosha nahi hain beta …. Mere liye jaise app ki maa important hain usse kahin jada app dono important hoo ….and I have filled few forms for you two in schools and I will be happy if you two get admitted at your previous school ….”

Pihu and khush hugged ram together … he hugged them back ….

‘ and the further ,.. I will explain to you kids ..” vikram said , when he came there with neha .

Ram looked back …. Neha said ‘ arey tum dono niklo ….nahi toh der hoo jayegi .. priya … get up ….” Neha walked to priya .. she looked at neha with a ‘I will kill you” look …

“ don’t look at me … ok …. Ya I knew it when you were wd me … and stop giving me looks and go with ram , as we will not stop him if he kidnaps you infront of us …. Afterall you have given him words to accept whatever he will decide …. And its condition against pihu’s stay back in india .. and pihu you want to  go to Australia ….”

Pihu made a crying face and said ‘ no mamma …..” priya got irritated she stood up and turned and her eyes meet ram first , his eyes were saying many things , she can read his eyes , priya looked down … and asked “ can I get time to pack …”

“ no ….” Ram replied instantly …. Priya looked up , ram said “ you are just coming wd me right now , right here …”  ram stepped to kk he took blessings from her , then he hugged and kissed pihu and khush , biding bye to the other family he walked to vikram , ram hugged him and said ‘ kheyal rakhna pihu ka …’ vikram said in his ears “ don’t worry we are  taking the kids to Venice this night only …. So enjoy your holiday , I will call you after reaching there ok ….”

Ram broke the hug , he smiled broad … and then in a serious tone he said “ priya i m waiting for you in the car you have 2 minutes ..” ram walked out of the kapoor mansion ..

Priya had nothing to say , she is now compelled to  leave with ram alone …. She took blessings from kk , she asked pihu and khush to be good and obedient to the elders , she asked rishab and saumya to take care of her kids , she looked angrily to neha , but she asked the shergill couple to take care of pihu and khush …..

Priya walked out of the KM ….  Ram was waiting for her outside … he was standing leaning to the car , he stood straight as priya came there , he opened the door for priya , she got inside quietly , closing the door ram got into the car next … he said “ Airport chalo ….” Priya looked blankly at ram …. While ram kept on look straight
