Part 89

After Priya, had a bad news heard from pihu , she tired to calm herself and  went to the hospital , she knew that he father also needs her , she was walking to the ICU … she stopped as the receptionist came running to her … calling her ‘Mrs.kapoor !!! Mrs.Kapoor !!!”

“Yes” priya turned back …. The lady came and said “ mam … I was about to call you ..at your home …” 

‘what happened ?? how…how is my father…” priya asked restlessly ….she even added “ he is ok naa…”

“ calm down mam…” the lady smiled and said “ he is in 1208 and please wait for few minutes I will issue you the passes …” the lady smiled again …. Priya smiled and thanking the lady she asked for the doctor , who was looking after her father , the lady asked her to go to the OPD13 .. priya requested the lady to keep the passes with her she will collect after meeting the doctor , priya happily walked as fast as she can to the doctor’s cabin … she in minutes reached OPD 13 , the doctor was surely a renowned doctor , a long queue of patients waiting … priya looked for any attendant there , a girl came and asked priya if she needs any help …. Priya asked to meet the doctor …. The girl said that it will be tough for her to meet the doctor as he has 23 patients lined up , but she assured that , if priya leaves any message she will convey it to him … priya thought a bit and then just giving her name and patients name she left to the reception , she collected the cards and ram towards the lift … which was almost full she managed a corner to stand … the lift stopped at the 12^th floor , priya found the way to the room 1208 .. she knocked and came in , she found a nurse was there by her father …. Priya smiled looking at sudheer ….. the nurse stood up , priya asked her to leave , and also assured that if her father needs n e thing she will inform her ….the nurse left …

Priya sat by sudhher and said “Hi …” sudheer smiled back ….

‘papa .. app jante hain .. you don’t look good like this … mujhe kitni sari baatien karni hain app se aur app ke damad aur nati and natin tino ki b’day lined up hain .. and if you will be sick like this … kaise hoga papa ….” Priya caressed sudheer’s head as she said ….

“pi..pihu kaisi hain ….” Sudheer asked …

“accha … app ko apki natin ki padhi hain ..right !!!! meri nahi … waise theek hain Monday se school bhi hain …” priya said ….

“tu kaisi hain …” sudheer said placing his hand on her cheek … priya kept her hand on his and smiled …. She said “ arey meine kisi ko bataya nahi … let me call every one …” priya took his phone and called ram first ……

“ haan priya bolo … but fast haan …. Meeting hain ..” ram said as he received priya’s call …..

“ ok ok … sun toh lijiye …..kya hain ….good news hain …” priya said …

“ ayeee….. good news …. !!!! jab managa tha tab nahi diya aur abhi … priya waise kaise hua yeh ….. means tum toh ….” Ram laughed .. as priya said ‘Mr.Kapoor … app aaj wapis ayiye .. app ko batati hoon …. Bad news kya hoti hain …. Abb bolu kya good news hain …??”

“ haan bolo …..” ram smiled as he leaned back to the chair …….

“ papa … ko cabin mein shift kar diya gaya .. and I m here ….. right now with papa ….” She smiled ….

“ really …. Arey wah !!!! and when this happened …??” ram asked ….

“ when I came here at hospital … about half an hour early …” priya said , while ram shouted “ and you are telling me now … priyaaaa I will …..”

“kya I will go and do your work I have to infom every one …. “ priya said , they disconnected the call, priya looked back and saw sudheer smiling …..priya looked down , and sudheer in very low voice said ‘ bahut accha lagta hain beta tum dono aise dekh ke ….” 

Priya sat by sudheer and called one after one and informed each and every family member ……

In the mean time …… Some where in Mumbai ,,… in a café …..

Khush rushed in wd two of his friends , he saw vyom chilling out with his friends after the college …. Vyom ran towards him and clutching his shirt , he turned vyom to himself ….

“ what the …..” vyom said as he released himself from khush …… he got surprised to see khush and asked why he is there ….

“ jaan ke anjaan ban raha hain tu I will kill you …. Vyom Singhal ….” Khush shouted while everyone in the coffee shop looked at them ….

‘ Khush .. control yourself what I have done ….” Vyom shouted back …

“ last time I m saying you to keep away from my sister other wise ….” Khush contoured ….. back ….

“ khush …. !!!! I like her …… why cant you accept the fact …. Why …?? And even she likes me .. her eyes tells me that …. Got it !!!!” vyom said  back …

“ her eyes …. How do you see her with this bloody eyes naa .. I will take off your eyes right here ….right now …..!!” khush was about to pick up the fork left over the table , but a hand slapped him hard … khush looked up and to his astonishment it was Vikram ….. and even neha was there .. behind him ….

“ Vikram uncle …app jante ..” khush could barely complete ,  vikram clutched his collar and dragged him outside the coffee shop to his car .. and neha followed them ……

Back in the Hospital ….

Priya was still with sudheer , sharmas and kapoors came there , and there was a huge crowd in the patients cabin which could be very harmful to the patient ,priya knew that .. but she cant stop the family to meet sudheer …. But the crowd has to disperse as the doctor came in and requested only one or maximum two to stay back ….

Priya went outside wd the doctor , while shipra stayed back with sudheer …

‘ doctor . hows my father now ?” priya wanted to know …

“ hmm .. mrs.kapoor , when your father was not responding at all , you know your brother said that you are the only hope to get him back , but I didn’t trusted that something like that could happen .. but I must say your father trusts you the most …. As he felt your presence near him , he got another meaning of his life .. so never let him alone .. for few days and I must advice you to fetch out the reason why he was so disturbed , and he got that massive attack ….. so you can take care of the matter so that it don’t happens next …” the doctor ended and excused himself …..

Priya smiled and went back to the cabin , she saw shipra and sudheer talking wd each other shudheer had a smile in his face … she came to them and said ‘ toh mujhe bhul hi gaye app dono … accha theek hain toh phir mein bhi chalti hoon ….’

“ priya beta … aise …” shipra said … while priya interrupted her saying ‘ maa mujhe naa pata hain jab bacche romance mein apna naak ghuser dete hain kaisa lagta hain .. app dono continue …. Karo mein sab ko no entry bol deti hoon …”  priya left without listening to her parents …. 

“ priya bhi naaa …..” shipra said and looked at sudheer who was still smiling ….

Priya asked karthik to wait In the lounge and asked all others to leave for their respective home ….. she came down with the family and at the entrance she meet ram ….

Ram came to her and asked about sudheer , priya informed him what ever the doctor has informed her about sudheer … ram wanted to meet sudheer , but priya stopped him and said “ aaj subhah jab saumya hum dono ke beech aa gayi thi … how much irritated you were … so my dear husband now at this moment , if you interfere in between maa and papa …. Tell me will it be justified …” 

Ram gave a nod and asked her to come with him …priya left wd ram , and asked her driver to take the car home …. Priya sat by ram , while he drove ….. from the hospital ….

Back to the Vikram’s Apartment …

Vikram pushed khush into his apartment , while neha wanted to stop him , vikram turned and asked neha to keep out from the matter … vikram looked frowningly to khush and asked what was he actually doing there at the coffee shop …. Khush said about pihu and vyom and what they feel for each other ,a nd what pihu did to get the trade changed for her higher secondaries ..

Vikram sat down and asked if ram and priya knows about that , khush informed him that priya knows the matter but ram didn’t …. Vikram stood up and coming to khush said “ when the elders know about that why the hell you are there to beat up vyom ??? is that you parents taught you ?? is that the up bringing of ram and priya , and especially priya , who even forgave your biological parents for what they did with her …. With ram …. Is that the you learnt from them …..”

“ sorry uncle …” khush came and wrapped his arms around his knees as he used to do as a kid when his god father used to get angry with him ….

‘ I m sorry beta … ram and priya should know what you were about to do today ….  If I hide this from them then you will get more freedom , yours and pihu’s both’s freedom should be monitored now …. “ vikram made khush stand ….  He looked at neha and asked to feed khush , vikram went inside ……

Neha came and hugged khush , coz she knew that he needs a motherly hug then …..

Back in Mumbai roads ….

Priya and ram was in the car …. Priya asked ram about where they are going …. Ram said that he wants to help a trust taking care of unprivileged kids … priya smiled … and sat back …. She turned her head outside as the car stopped in the traffic , a motor bike came and stopped by the car , in the motor bike there was a pair , the girl was hugging the boy tight from the back , she then looked at ram , and thought of telling everything to ram as she cant handle the matter alone ,as she heard what pihu said to khush … last …..

“kya hua .. want to tell something …’ ram asked as he can read her breathes her mind …

Inhaling deep she said “ wo …..baad mein baatati hoon first let us do the nobel work for what we are going ….” Ram agreed and drove …..

After few minutes they reached their destination …

Ram priya got off from the car …. A lady came and welcomed tem and to ram priya’s surprise she asked for pihu , it was none other than Vyom’s mother …..

“ you know pihu ??” ram asked surprisingly …

“ yes off course mr.kapoor …. Few days back I mean two days back she came to me with my son ….Vyom , you have meet him Mr.Kapoor in your last anniversary … you remember you patted him and congratulated him for his selection in IIT ….”  Mrs.Singhal said …

‘yes I do .. but pihu … how she … I mean … I m sorry I don’t have an idea about this …I mean for what she was there to meet you ?”  ram asked as he looked at his wife …

“ Mrs.Kapoor , you should know why she was there rather she said that you know about the visit ….” Mrs.Singhal said …

“ Yes I knew it ….” Priya looked at her husband . she can read his eyes , she smiled and continued “ I didn’t informed Mr.Kapoor he was busy in business , you know and in between the tension of Home and kids , then why we are the Home Ministers …??” priya laughed with Mrs.Singhal ….. while ram said “Excuse me … I have to be there … pointing to a gathering of business men …”

Ram walked from there , while priya looked at Ram and she knew what blunder happened …right there few minutes back ..

After the Function was over Ram didn’t took a minute to call priya and leave from there …..  priya walked behind him , ram didn’t talked with her for a moment … he opened the car door , and priya opened the door and sat by ram , still ram was not looking at priya , he is frowning in anger ….  Priya took the courage .. and placing her hand on his he said “Mr.Kapoor!!!!”

“What ??? what you want to tell me , what excuse would you like to give me priya ?? what ??? tell me … I was in dark , and I don’t know n e thing what is happening at home ….?”

“ no ram it is not that …. I came to know about it yesterday .. and the full story just today I wanted to tell you but …the … I mean …” priya stopped as ram said ‘shut up !!!!! just shut up and remember that night what you and I promised to each other .. do you remember it priya … do you ??” he shouted ….

“ I do ….but I wanted to tell you trust me …” priya said begging to ram …

“ no .. you don’t remember … you don’t ……” ram shouted badly ……..

*FlashBack*

Priya was in 7^th month then expecting pihu … ram was sleeping calmly , but priya for some reason cant sleep at all .. she sat up and shouted “RAMMMMMM…..”

“ haaa.. kya hua kya kya …” he restlessly sat up and looked at priya …

‘ yeh mujhe sone nahi de raha hain …” priya said …

‘ am I snoring too much …baby …’ ram asked placing the hand on her tummy …. Priya said “no … its your baby who is not allowing me to sleep ….”

‘kya …..yaar .. so jao …” ram took his hand from her belly and looked surprisingly to priya … he again placed it .. and the baby kicked two three times … priya made faces covering her face she said “ yeh sure footballer hoga ….”

“ yeh .. meri beti … hogi beta nahi … beta hoga toh sirf tumhara hoga …. Abhi se bol raha hoon …’ ram said while he enjoyed the kicks of his unborn ….

“ oh!!!hello …. Aaj meri isss …..halat ka jimmedar naa app hain no one else ….” Priya said ….

“ matlab ???” ram said …..

“ matlab .. meri iss halat ka …” showing herself she said “iss halat ke liye zimmedar app hain …. Mein nahi … app ke waja se mein aaj so nahi paa rahi hoon …”

“ sirf mein .. you are saying like .. you have done nothing .. it’s a team work baby ….” Ram placed his ear on her tummy ….. priya caressed his head and said “ ram I cant sleep your baby is not at all loving to stay inside I tell you ….”

“ ek baat batayo … tum yeh bolne ke liye mujhe chilla ke jagah diya ….” Ram said looking at her …

“ no … not at all ram .. I wanted to share this moment with you .. and you know … I will not mind to call you even in between the important meeting if I have to share n e thing about our baby .. you are the father , you should know everything about our love … accha bura everything … what ever will happen with our baby , we will be equally responsible for that and we should know it too .. so promise me … you will not hide n e thing from me about our baby … good bad nothing ….” Priya extended her palm to him …. Ram kept his hand on hers and said “promise .. and madam same is applicable for you too ….”

“ hmmm… let me think .. no .. its not applicable for me … because .. the day I came to know about our baby , that day itself I promised it you and myself ….” Priya smiled .. ram bend down and placed a kiss on her belly and said “ dekha how sensible caring and responsible mother you are going to have my love …..” ram smiled looking at priya , coming to her he said “ abhi so jaye …. Bahut neend aa rahi hain ….”

“ kaise .. yeh saitaan ko abb mamma ke paas rehna hi nahi .. apne papa ke godi mein aana hain .. I tell you ram , iske aa jane ke baad raat ko royega naa .. toh app samhalna … mein uthungi bhi nahi …” priya said …

“ ok … you don’t have to tell me that …. But madam jab humeri baby ko bhook lagegi tab mamma hi kaam ayegi naa .. not papa ….”  Ram smiled …

“hmmm…. Matlab app kharatien lena bandh nahi karenge …. And yeh hain … ise ladka hi hona chahiye coz I m sure yeh toh kharatein lega hi … ladki huyi naa musibaat ho jayegi …..” priya lied down ….

“ ok ok dekha jayega …” ram lied down too and said “ apna promise yaad rakhna ….” Priya smiled and hugging him said ‘ hanji … yaad rehega ….”

*FlashBack Ends*

Priya cried …. And ram said ‘ you broke that promise priya you broke it …” ram ignited the car and was about to leave the parking arena …. Ram’s phone rang , vikram called him … and asked him to come to his residence .. ram was not at all feeling good to face n e one he wanted to be alone … contend in himself … but vikram insisted and also added that it was very urgent …..

Ram without saying n e thing to priya drove to the Shergill House …. Ram and priya walked to the front door and knocked .. neha opened it and welcomed them in with a pale face …. Ram asked why they called him so urgently …. Vikram said that it is good that .. ram and priya both came …. Ram again asked what happened … why they called him so urgently …

Vikram went in and came back with Khush … priya looked at him and got surprised …

Vikram said “ both of you should know what he was doing …. !!!” he looked at khush angrily …

‘vikram what he did …??” ram asked ….

Vikram narrated everything …. Ram looked back at priya then at khush he said nothing .. but left from there …. Priya holding khush’s hand went to the car , she asked khush to get into the car …. And after him she got inside … ram didn’t said a single word , he drove silently … priya sat there thinking what went wrong in her upbringing that her two kids are behaving insanely ….

They reached kapoor mansion ..ram walked straight to his room , priya asked khush to be in his room and she went to her room , she saw ram standing infront of his family photograph … priya called him … by his name , he looked at her and said “ yesterday u asked me something priya remember ….” Priya looked down as she remembered what she said … ram turned to her and walking up to her he said “ don’t fear …. But ….. live with it ….I told you naa you was the best mom for my kids …. But You FAILED ….yes .. do hear that Mrs.Ram Kapoor you FAILED AS A MOTHER …..”

Ram didn’t gave priya a chance to defend , he left the room saying “ I m in my study please don not disturb …. Me … this much I can expect from you ….”

Priya closed her eyes tight , clutching her saree , tear drop ran down ……
