Part 73

It was almost 8 in the night , ram ‘s phone rang , he looked at his watch then , at sleeping priya in his arms , he carefully took his arms from priya , without disturbing her sleep he got out of the bed , he received vikram’s call ….

“ haan bol vikram ….”

“ theek hain naa , aur priya wo theek hain naa…” vikram asked …

Looking at priya , he said “ bass thodi der pehle hi soyi hain … I don’t know kaise handle karunga … but I know I have to …..”

“ ram , jo bhi suna , uske baad what I can say , u have taken the right decision … pihu ko door bhejna hi padega , and priya ko bhi jana padega …” vikram gave full support to ram’s decision..

“ mujhe pata that u samjhega … par vikram , bahut muskil hoga mere liye , aur priya ke liye bhi …  soch ke hi …..” he paused ….

‘ ram , priya aur tu dono matured hain … you two can handle it I know , rather we all know that …” vikram consoled ram …

“ but … priya kaise rehegi , pihu will be busy wd her studies , I will be busy wd my work , but priya , wo kya karegi … baithe baithe …  I mean … she will …..” ram stopped and turned as priya hugged him from behind , she rested her head on his back ….

“ vikram , mein tujse baad mein baat karta hoon ….” Ram disconnected the call …. And turned to priya , she caressed his cheeks , managed to smile a bit and said “ ram … itna pyaar karte hain mujse …..”  ram stepped to her , cupping her face , he said “ haan priya … aaj lag raha hain , sayed pihu se bhi jada ….”

“ nahi ram … I should not be your first priority now , our love , our pihu should be our first priority … she is our future , your future … my future ….we have to protect her , and to protect her , if we have to stand against this world we will , but we have to safeguard her , ram , she is our Love child , humari pyaar ki insaani hain ram wo … we cant let her get ruined … thinking about ourself , and jaha tak baat um dono ki alag rehne ki hain then ….” Priya smiled ……

‘ kya hua , aisa naughty wala smile kyun de rahi hoon …”  ram asked smiling …

She took his hand in hers and took him to the window , sliding the curtains , she allowing the moon beam to engulf the room , she said “ yaad hain .. ek din app mujhe yeh chand gift kar rehe the ….”

“ hmm par tumne liya kaha ….” Ram pouted his lips , priya turned to him , throwing her arms around ram’s neck said “ hmm , aaj kaam aa gaya  naa….” , he wrapped his arms around priya’s waist , he asked “ matlab ….”

“ matlab , yeah ki mr.kapoor , aaj mein app ko yeh chand gift karti hoon ….” She smiled ….

“ hmmm .. toh mrs.kapoor app ne iss chand ko kab khareeda…..” ram asked …

“ kaha khareeda , jab mera .. apne wale chand se tol ke dekha naa , bahut fika laga yeh chand ….. phir bhi…. jab mera chand mere paas nahi hoga … tab .. iss chand ki nazar  se mein apne chand ko dekh lungi …” priya looked lovingly at ram , he hugged priya , closing his eyes , he took her more into his embrace wishing “ hope I could stopped the time”  priya snuggled into his arms , they stood in each others embrace for few minutes , parting away from each other , priya looked at ram , wiping his tear , she said “ chand gift kiya phir bhi ro rehe hain , arey mein agar iss chand (pointing to the moon) mein apna iss golu sa chand ko dekhungi , toh app iss chand mein apne biscuit jaisi chand ko nahi dekh sakte …”

Ram smiled broad , which eventually turned into a laughter , both ram priya laughed , she said , “ abb chaliye … hospital chaltein hain … mein udhar hi reh jayungi app wapis aa jana 11 baje tak ….”

“ no priya mein bhi rahunga , meine doctor se baat kar liya hain , hum donor eh sakte hain …” ram smiled , priya smiled back and left to change ….

Hospital

Pihu was bit better , she is lying on the hospital bed … there was a knock , she looked at the door , and managed to sat up , her eyes popped out …. A  person in teddy bear costume , wd a big teddy bear , in hand walked to her , she smiled , as the teddy bear masked , person , danced , and turning to her it made a funny move …. Showing pihu its hip , she laughed , as this move is the patent of kapoor and Sharma kids … and that is none other than khush … , he hugged pihu , and gave the teddy to her ….

“ thank you monkey ….” Pihu smiled …..

Khush took out the mask and said “ toh … smile wapis aa gayi naa …”

‘ waise bear toh mein hoon .. tu kyun baan kea a gaya ….” Pihu said as khush sat by her ….

“ wo kya hain naa … jansi ki rani  abhi leti huyi hain , so , I thought to play your role for chikoo and BB ..” khush looked at pihu , as she looked down …

“ pihu … don’t be sad , jo hona tha ho gaya … the main thing is you are safe ….”

Pihu looked at khush and said “ I know , all are concerned for my health me , but no one is concerned for mom , I know she is blaming herself , akhir kiss baat ke liye mana kiya , jo chaha wo toh turant mil gaya , aur jiske barein mein sirf socha , mamma ne wo bhi mujhe diya …. Yaad hain …. Hum dono .. akhn bandh karke … map pe point out karte the .. and that used to become our holiday destiny ,,….. and meine uss mamma papa ko dhoka de diya ….”  Pihu wept ….

‘ nahi pihu , nahi … kuch nahi hua hain ….” Khush hugged pihu ….

“ aur tuje bhi nahi bataya …jisne humesha mera saath diya … humesha mamma se meri choti choti galatiyaan chupati raha tu , tuje bhi nahi bataya …..” pihu wept badly …. She continued “ aur mamma ko chota kar diya , unke nazar mein … jhoota sabit kar diya … jhoota …….”  Pihu wept badly ….

Neha and apeksha was at the door steps … they heard the conversation between the brother and sister , apeksh without making a sound turned and walked to the lobby , neha followed her ….

“ kya hua apeksha…” neha asked …

‘ kuch nahi neha , soch rahi thi …. Janam dene wali maa badi hoti hain yaa prwarish karne wali maa… kaha Ayesha aur kaha khush , sab ne uska mazak udaya , when he was coming here , in the hospital too , but pihu ki khushi ke liye , usne appna mazak bana liya …. Yeh priya ki parchai nahi hain toh kya hain ……” apeksha was emotional …

“ I know…. Khush bilkul priya ki parchayi hain , waise uss ka (pointing above , for god) timing galat hain ….” Neha smiled , apeksha smiled too , wiping her tears ,

Neha continued “ agar , ram priya ki shaadi ram ki umar 30 rehtein rehtein ho jata naa … toh yeh dono ek monkey aur polar bear , dono hi ram priya ki aulad hote…..’  neha and apeksha stood at the lobby of 10^th floor ….

Downstairs , Hospital , ram priya went to meet the doctor …. They sat in front of him ,

The doctor smiled and wishing them , he pushed tow envelopes , to ram priya . ram nervously asked what were in the envelope ….the doctor asked them to check the reports …. Ram opened them one by one , priya peeped into it , but none of them got to , understand …

“ kya hain app hi bata dijiye ….’ Ram said

“ hmm ….” The doctor leaned forward resting his hand on the desk , he said ‘ first pihu is not a drug addict , she was being toxicated for the first time that day , and the second one , you are lucky that she is normal today ….means the drugs level was really tending to overdose … and  this could have been fatal ….”

Priya leaned back , she got frienghtened , clutching ram’s coat , she swallowed lump in her throat …. The doctor said looking at her “ mrs.kapoor she is ok now , I m just saying what could have happened , and now I will tell you what can happen ….. may happen ….”

Ram said “ kya ho sakta hain …’ he said nervously …..

“ mr.kapoor , kuch symptoms aa sakte hain , she may get agitated , her BP will fluctuate , then she will be agitated , will feel restless ….. very restless … as parents you two will find difficult to see … her like that …. You should make yourself strong to support your child , we are working on her health …. We will cure her ASAP …. It’s a promise ….” The doctor said the truth , with much difficulty.

Ram looked at priya ,she is very tensed …. Ram kept his hand on her and managing a smile said “ we will take care of her …..” ram helped priya to stand , he took her to pihu’s room ….

Kapoor mansion ……

Siddhant and Ayesha’s bedroom …

Mamaji was moving to and fro in his room , he said “ oye kya jharurat thi pihu ko durugs dene kaa….”

“ drugs kaha de rehe the , I want to kill her ..’ sidd accepted the allegations ….

“ par kyun … oye ….” Mamaji asked ….

“ kyun ki usne sidd ko drugs bechtein huye dekh liya tha ….” Ayesha shouted …..

“ matbal ….’ Mamaji said ….

‘ pihu mere paas aa rahi thi , complain karne , tab , I was supplying drugs to my clients …. Usne dekh liya .. tha ….” Sidd gulped his whiskey , “ aur abhi bhi hum dono safe nahi hain … pihu ko chup karwana hi padega…..”

‘ oye pagal ho gaya hain .. pehle yeh confirm toh kar le .. pihu ne kuch dekha bhi hain ki nahi …??”  mamaji sat by siddhant …

“ kya matlab hain app ka …” sidd asked irritatingly

“ matbal yeh ki … pihu ne agar tuje dekh liya tha , toh bola kyun nahi …. Abhi tak , wo piriya se toh bol hi deti , aur tum dono ko piriya chodti nahi , ram ko nahi batati par tum dono ko toh bolti … dhamkati ….’ Mamaji said …. Rolling his eyes …

Sidd and Ayesha looked at each other , taking mamaji ‘s point to be a valid one , as , their another try to hurt pihu , can do disaster to them , ram priya has not said them n e thing this time , but next time , they will not let them go …..

Back in Sharma house ….

Natasha with Sudheer shipra and karthik ,  after dinner ….

“ kya ho gaya , ayehsa aur sidd ne ….” Shipra closed her eyes ….

“ naa mumiji … apne app ko dosh maat dijiye …” Natasha said ….

“ nahi nutz … meine humesha Ayesha ka side liye , par jo galat hain wo galat hain … pihu bacchi hain , Ayesha khud ek maa hoke aisa kaise kar sakti hain …”

“ abb jo ho gaya hain , use chodo shipra , abhi priya pihu aur ram tino ko hum sab ki jharoorat hain …. Bahut muskil waqt se gujarne wale hain dono … aur sabse jada muskil hoga , pihu ke liye ….” Sudheer said …….

In the Hospital ,

Ram priya walked through the lobby , apeksha and neha stood up seeing them coming there . priya smiled and asked about pihu , they informed that khush is there wd her … priya walked to pihu’s room , ram stood wd the ladies …

Pushing the cabin’s door , priya came inside , she smiled looking down , finding khush in teddy bear’s costume …. Khsuh quickly put on his mask and ran to priya , he hugged her and said “ happy teddy day ….” Priya smiled …. Khush said “ mein abhi chalta hoon bade papa , neha aunty , bua …. Sab ko wish karna hain …. Khush walking like a fat teddy , went out from there .

Khush came to lobby , ram rolled his eyes and said “ who is this …”

“ happy teddy day …” khush hugged ram …. He smiled and said “ yeh kya huliya bana liya ….”

“ bye bye ….” Khush then hugged neha and apeksha and making funny moves he walked from there …. He took the lift to downstairs …..

“ yeh ladka bhi pihu ko hasane ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hain …” ram said ….

“ bhai … priya ki parchayi hain ….. pata nahi … iss ladke pe kya beet rahi hogi …” apeksha hold her tears back ….

“ hmm!!!” exhaling a deep breath ram asked apeksha and neha to leave and he assured that if they will need n e thing , they will call the family …. Apeksha and neha wishing ram good night left for respective homes …..

Ram came to pihu’s cabin , he sat by pihu , smiling , he took his daughter’s hand on his , “ so hows my princess ??”

Pihu smiled and said “ I m ok  papa …” 

“ I will only take you as ok when you will again , start pulling your mom’s leg along wd me ….”  Ram said ….

“ ok !!!” she looked at priya …. , “ hmmm hilter waise hi …” she stopped as priya moving her hand up , auctioned a slap , casually … she smiled and then laughed …. Pihu giggled too , ram looked at his princesses , he smiled …

Priya caressing pihu’s head said “ beta .. abb so jao ….. , bahut der ho chuki hain … hmmm , mamma app ko sula deti hain ….”

“ mamma appp dono ghar nahi jayenge …” pihu asked …

“ nahi … mamma aur papa dono app ke saath rehenge ….yehaan ….” Ram said , caressing pihu’s head …

“ hmm…. Par …. App dono kya iss stool pe hi baithe rehenge ??” pihu asked …

“ kyun … aisa kyun bol rahi hoo ….” Priya asked pihu …

“ mamma … couch ek hain … abb udhar hardly app akele .. I mean .. app dono udhar .. kaise …” she giggled …. Ram priya looked at each other the laughed , coming closer to pihu they kissed her on forehead , ram priya took pihu’s hand on theirs , they kissed on her hand , pihu smiled looking at her mom dad , she smiled ….. and the couple …. Sensed little relief ………
