Part 74

 Ram comforted himself on the couch , priya sat by sleeping pihu , he didn’t disturbed priya , he wanted her to be wd pihu , he wanted her to get out from the trauma through which she is going , ram leaned back on the sofa , he closed his eyes …. And after a while , his tieredness engulfed him to deep slumber.

Hours passed …………..

Ram’s  sleep broke , he looked at his watch , it was 3 in the morning …. He found priya still awake sitting by pihu , holding her hand on her’s …. Ram smiled , he came to her , resting his hand on her shoulder he said “ priya come take rest for a while , she is ok now ….”

“ I m fine … ram ….” Priya replied without looking at him …

‘ I know you are fine …. But you should also take care of your health , pihu is unwell , and if she finds that your health is not ok , pihu will blame herself , fpr her take some rest …” ram said , priya looked at him , he requested her , priya carefully putting pihu’s hand back on the bed , stood up , ram taking her hand on his , took her to the couch , he made her sit , then he sat by her , priya rested her head on his chest , ram encircling his hand around priya , caressed her head , priya was tiered when she dozed off to sleep neither she nor ram was unaware of it …. Ram rested back his head to the head rest , and was about to close his eyes , when he heard coughs , he looked at pihu , she was panting , feeling restless ….  Ram got tensed , he stood up , which interrupted priya’s sleep , she also saw pihu restless , a shout in reflex came out from her .. ‘ pihuuuuuuuuuuu…’ priya rushed to her little princess .. ram ran out calling the ‘Doctor !!! Doctor …’

‘in side the cabin ….

“ pihu !!! pihu !!! baby … mamma is here naa…” priya wanted a reply from pihu but she didn’t responded back … priya kept on caling her , but pretty soon the doctors came inside , they asked ram priya to wait outside , though priya was not willing to go out , ram took her out … forcibly …. Priya was crying badly , she was petrified seeing pihu so restless … ram was even terribly petrified .. but for priya he controlled him self , he wanted to calm priya too ….

Cupping priya’s face , he called her by her name , but she kept on shivering uttering pihu’s name …. Ram hold her in his arms strong …. And shouted ‘ PRIYAAAA….” She stopped taking pihu’s name , shivering she looked at ram …..

‘ she will be ok … she will be baby …” he cupped her face ….

Tears came out from her eyes ….. she clutched his shirt , throwing herself on him she cried … wept badly …. Ram hold her by his one arm , and with the other she pulled out the phone and called Rishab ..

With few rings rishab took the call , he and saumya came to know about pihu’s health detoriations , they assured ram to be in hospital within 30 minutes ,ram then called nevi and sharma’s …

Kapoor mansion …

Rishab knocked at kk’s door , he informed her about pihu , she got tensed , the agitations and rush in the kapoor mansion , woke almost everyone , other than mamaji ….. even sidd and Ayesha woke up …

Khush came to rishab and saumya about pihu , they informed him and asked him to stay back wd the family ….

“ no I cant she is my sister .. and I cant let her like that .. no … never … aur apeksha bua hain naa … I m coming wd you ..” khush demanded …

“ khush ….” Saumya stopped as rishab said ‘ haan chal tu ….”

Rishab wd saumya and khush left from KM for the hospital ……

At the hospital ,

Neha and Vikram arrived there , they saw ram pacing in the lobby …  and priya standing just by pihu’s cabin , neha paced to her , seeing her , priya hugged her and wept saying “ neha , meri bacchi , kya ho gaya use … kya ho gaya ….”

“ nothing kuch nahi …. Hua humari princess ko … kuch nahi hua ..” neha tried to consol priya though she was also crying ….

Vikram kept his hand on ram’s shoulder … ram said “ kya ho raha hain .. vikram , we were so happy wd each other and suddenly what is happening …..” vikram has no reply for his friend , he can just be with him that time , and he stood strong by ram …..

Nutz wd karthik and rishab wd saumya and khush came there …. Khush ran to priya , and neha , he peeped through the glass , he found her sister to be so lifeless , cold , doctors nurses around her .. he stepped back …. He looked at priya , he looked at ram , then …… he stepped back till he hit the wall …. He sat on the ground along it … vikram noticed him , he dragged ram’s attention to khush … ram came and made him stand …

‘ sab mere liye hua bade papa .. sab mere liye hua ….” He cried ….

“ khush , nothing happened for you …. Nothing ….. do you get that nothing happened for you …..” ram said him ….

“ if I would have kept eye on her then this would have never happened ….”  Khush blamed himself ….

Nuts came to him and said “ beta stop blaming yourself , nothing happened for you … nothing .. what ever happened was unfortunate for us , and now if we all , break down … then how can pihu remain strong …. If we all ….’ Nutz controlled her emotions …..

The doctors came out only then ….

Ram and vikram rushed to them , they asked about pihu’s health …

“ pihu …. Is responding , waise I have told you mr.kapoor this will happen … hope age naa ho , rather , she needs medical observations and I m sure she will recover soon , bass you all keep patience and faith on us ….”

Ram nodded …..

The doctor gave him moral support , he said “ and kuch der baad aap  ander jaa sakte hain .. the nurse will call you …. now excuse me … I m have ..some…” ram nodded and made way for the doctors ….

Ram came to priya , neha moved back , ram said “ priya calm down ….”  Khush looked at them ….

Ram took priya aside , they  talked among themselves , the siblings and friends looked at them , after few minutes they came back , ram said “ guys I wanted to , we want to infrom you something … serious , can we sit , and talk ….”

They all , settled on the lobby , khush kept standing resting on the wall …..

Ram leaned forwards , entwining his hands , he said “ we have decided something .. about pihu , about us …..”

All the listeners , except nevi gave a confused look ….. ram looked at them and said “ we have decided to sent pihu wd apeksha to Australia , after she gets cured , and apeksha will be here till then ….”

“ its ok bhai , it will be good for her but us , the decision about you , whats that ….’ Nuts asked .. with courage , and keeping her fingers crossed …

“ I and priya have decided that pihu will not go alone , priya will go with her …” ram said , holding priya’s hand …

“ WHAT !!!!!” nutz stood up ….  Khush gulped a lump in his throat, he has nothing to say , he looked down …. There prevailed a silence …… ram looked  up ….. he said , ‘ nd this final ….are you all with me …”

“ NO I m not wd you …” khush shouted … ram and priya and others .. looked at him …..

“ you are not asked … beta …..” priya said caring ….

“ WHY I M NOT ASKED .. NO … Neither pihu nor you will go away from me ….” He cried ….

‘ beta …..” priya stood up , the nurse interrupted , she said that they can meet pihu , nutz asked priya to go to pihu , she will handle khush .. priya … you go to pihu … bhai you too ….” Ram priya had no option other than to go to pihu , ram asked nevi to go wd nutz , and saumya and rishab followed ram priya …..

Nutz caressed khush’s head , he jerked away her hand , vikram forcibly took khush from there , they drove back to the Sharma house … 

In the cabin ,

Ram priya cme to pihu , she is sleeping , the nurse informed , ram priya kept on  looking at their princess , she is being monitored again , which priya hated the most , she couldn’t look her daughter like that … she moved to the window ….

“ bhai .. bhabi … I think khush also needs you two , he is moved with your decision” he looked at saumya and continued , “ I know , app dono ne jo decision liya hain that’s  best for pihu , but khush baccha hain use samjhana hoga , bhabi , he needs you , and pihu ke paas hum dono rehte hain naa … jab tak app dono nahi ayenge we will not move from here …”  

“ yes you are right …” ram looked at priya , he said “ priya chalo .. pihu abhi theek hain ,,,,,” she nodded back , and kissing pihu’s forehead and hand , she left wd ram for Sharma house ….

Sharma House …..

Shipra and sudheer are tensed ….

The door bell rang …. Sudheer opened the door , he saw nevi with khush wd their son and daughter in law , khush jerked away vikram’s hand , and crashed himself in sudheer’s embrace , his nanu , unaware of what happened , got tensed … and khush cried aloud …

‘ kya hua beta …” sudheer asked …..

“ batate hain hum ….” Neha stepped in …. Karthik took khush inside …. Vikram and neha wd nuts settled on the living room ….

“ pihu theek hain naa ..” shipra asked ….  Neha nodded back …..

“ khush ko kya hua hain …” sudheer asked them …

“ wo .. he is upset ….” Neha replied .., ‘ upset wd ram priya’s decision …”

‘ decision …?? Kaisa decision ….” Sudheer asked ….

“ papa ji .. wo bhai ne decide kiya hain ki … he will send pihu to Australia , and priya will go with her …. Khush ko major nahi hain ….” Nutz replied ….

He with a great sigh of relief said …. “ ok I see …. Baccha hain …. Nasanjh hain … mein baat karta hoon ….” Sudheer stood up and walked inside and after a while karthik came out , he sat on the sofa and said “ kya se kya ho raha hain … di ko kya jharoorat thi sidd ko help karne ki , jail mein rehta , toh kya bigad leta kisi ka , uss waqt jidd karke … sidd ko ….” He stopped …..

Inside … at the balcony , khush is standing by the railing and weeping badly …. Sudheer came and said “ pata hain tere badi maa ka bhi yeh sab se pasandidar jagah hain … kabhi bhi tensed hoti thi , khush hoti thi .. idhar aake … tuje bhi pasand hain naa…..”

Khush turned to him , hugging him je wept badly …. . sudheer consoled him , he said “ beta , pata hain mujhe tu priya ke bina nahi reh payega , nahi hi pihu ke bina , par tere se jada takleef mein tere bade papa honge ….”

Khush looked at his nanu … sudheer continued “ pata hain beta , tera maa aur bade papa , jab bhi mile the , jhagrte rehte the , abhi bhi jhagarte rehte hain but wo dono ek doosrein se bahut pyaar karte hain … bahut … … wo dono ek doosrein se juda ho rehe hain .. priya tujse tujse juda ho rahi hian …. Beta …. Tere se jada wo dono takleef mein hain ….”

“ aur kiske liye , mere mom dad ke liye ….. mere mom dad , why … WHY GOD .. WHY …. You made me their son … why …’ he wept …. Sudheer caressed his head and said “ beta …. Aisa nahi kehte hain …’

“ AISA hi HAIN …” khush is furious , clutching the railing he said “ I WISH MEIN MAAR GAYA HOTA .. I WISH DEATH !!!! rather than to be called siddhant kapoor’s son …..” he shouted …..

“ WHAT !!!! kya bola tune ….”  The voice came , khush and sudheer turned , they saw priya …. Sudheer read his daughter’s eyes , he wanted to stop her , priya moved to khush … he stole his eyes …. Holding his chin he made him look at her , he said “ kya kaha … you wish death!!!!” he didn’t replied … priya again and again repeated … her question …. But khush remained unanswered ….

“ You wish death you wish death !!!” , with a pause she screamed “ YOU WISHED DEATH !!!”  and slap ….!!!! SLAP !!! Slap !!! priya slapped khush hard four times ,  khush cried ….. sudheer stopped priya from slapping khush further …. Ram and others ran to the room when they heard priya shouting ….

“ kya kar rahi hoo….” Ram stopped priya …..

“ no … he wishes death …. Ek maa ke samne .. he wishes death …” priya clutched khush’s t shirt and shouted on him … “ Ayesha teri maa hain yeh sach hain naa .. toh yaad rakh … mein usse bhi teri maa hoon …. Janam nahi diya tuje … par tuje kuch hota hain naa .. mehsush kar sakti hoon , teri akhoon mein ansoon nahi dekh sakti , tuje bimaar dekh sakti … you were not in my womb but …’ she stretched her every word and said “ YOU ARE MY SON ……MY SON ……” , she wept , “ tuje kuch yaad nahi hain .. mujhe yaad hain …. Uss din jud gaya tha mujh se …. Aur tune aaj jo bola naa ….” Priya stepped back , khush looked at her …. , priya said “ I will never forgive you never …” priya turned and rushed from there ……

Khush stood there crying … ram stepped to him , he pleaded sorry from him , ram with care wiped his tears  cupping his face , khush constantly pleaded sorry from him , he nodded affectionately to khush , and took khush in his embrace ….
