Part 63

The scene Shifts to Mumbai Airport ……

Ram took pihu aside , and try to avoid priya ….. he gave pihu a packet and said “ buy what ever you want from the airport … ok ….”

Pihu looked up and said “ dad !!!” ram rolled his eyes , correcting herself she said “ ok ok sorry papa … khush …” ram smiled broad … pihu continued … “ papa … mamma hain naa… she will get me , what ever I want…”

Ram (taking her in his arms ) : then why you are sad … mamma is doing that for your well naa…

Pihu , got surprised , she said  “ mamma ne bata diya , I mean … ok … I know she never hides n e thing from you papa …. But tell me … one thing , wll are going na papa …. Why not me … I mean in 5 months we will turn 17 and we will be in college then , I mean sab jaa rehe hain papa …. My full group ….”

“ but khush is he going …” ram asked back ..

Pihu , pouting her lips said “ monkey kaha mamma ki baat talta hain ,…”

Ram cuts in saying .. :: “ you also don’t do so … and why you are doing this time?”

Pihu hugged ram :: “ papa .. humara disco mein hi toh jayungi and chachu masi will be there naa….” Ram hugged her back and said “ beta , I can’t help it , if your maa don’t want you to go …”

Priya smiled and said “ le liya mera jagah ….” Ram pihu broke the hug , pihu said “ hitler ne khud chod diya toh mein kya karoon ….’

Khush hugged priya from side and said “ maa don’t forget to bring my suit from there ,” priya ruffles his hairs and said “ haan baba haan … I m getting that … we cant come back 2morow ….” She looked at ram ….

‘ lo ho gaya ….kal pura din chabar chabar …” khush said , ram showed a slap to khush, he hiding behind priya said “ toh , what wrong he  said …..” pihu laughed …. 

Priya looked at ram and said “ reh lenge naa , app ….”

Ram came near to her and taking her in a brief hug , said “ haan ji madam…’

Pihu jumping to khush’s back said “ mera toh monkey hi hain ….”

Khush shouted “ uttar .. uttar … monkey mein nahi tu hain ….” He jerks off pihu from his back , and said “ bap re … weight kam kar …” pihu literary slapped khush and said “ manner nahi hain , how to speak wd elder sister ….” She tried to seem quite serious … 

Khush rolled his eyes and said “ mujhe mara , mujhe ….” He ran to catch pihu , priya shouted “ rook jao nahi toh mein dono ko .. abhi …” they stopped , priya stopped too …..

Ram and khush , waved bye to priya and pihu , as they moved to the departure … ram and khush came back to the car , ram is little gloomy , khush said “ bade papa … today boys party you , vikram uncle , rahul bhai and me ….” Ram smiled looking at khush , they got into the car and left the  airport …..

In the AirBus ….

Pihu put on the sleeping mask and leaned back in the executive class, priya looked at her , and said “ today …. I m feeling that I m with my daughter …”

Pihu pulled up her mask and said “ no mom , want to remain little content …. Nothing else ….”

Priya grinned and said ‘ and exactly why ….” Pihu didn’t replied … priya repeated her question … pihu sat straight and said “ mom , from last few days I was feeling the same .. just reciprocal to your feelings that , I m with my mother .. not wd my best friend…why mom I mean whats the problem wd a disc .. we want to go there to mark a day end to the school life , this life will never come back again , you always used to tell me naa , that ….’ Priya cuts in saying , “ what if … I allow you to go ….”

“ really will you ….” Pihu looked excited , she turned herself to priya ……

‘ hmmm.. and what if … what you say rahul … spoon of your papa … right .. as if chamcha … right …!!!” priya said ….

“ haan aur nahi toh kya …. I mean kuch dino mein shaadi hone wala hain … papa don’t takes a break to romance wd you ….” Priya rolled her eyes to pihu …. , she said “ ok ok .. I will not say buts that the truth mamma … I get bored , seeing you two , sacchi mamma … if I get someone like papa naa I swear I will kill him … two nights one day , his face got dimmed … wow man , what if mamma , if you two .. have to live alone , separated … then ….” Pihu cuts her tongue and said “ sorry …..i didn’t mean that …”

“ pihu … kabhi kabhi naa apne haad mein raha kar , mein sach mein teri maa hoon …” priya smiled , and looked into the magazine …

Pihu pulled her sarree and said “ mom .. will you …. ??”

“ hmm .. but don’t tell me any thing if rahul follows you there .. wd his fiancée …” priya said looking into the magazine ….

“ so moral of the story is ki beta pihu this way or that , you cant go ….” Pihu putting back her sleeping mask leaned back …. Priya smiled…..and concentrated back on the magazine ….

$ 4 hours later ……..

Ram was restless…. Vikram said “ arey yaar … air traffic hoga ……” ram shouted “ khush!!! Khush !!!!” he came running … with vaibhab in his shoulder .. he stammered and said “ I have called .. but the flight has not landed badepapa ….” 

“ kya hua tau ji ??” chikoo asked….

With a weird smile , ram said “ kuch nahi beta .. go and play wd bhai ….” Chikoo shouted “ chalo naa bhai …. Bunty babli ke paas lekar chalo na….”

*pause*

Now you are wondering naa who are this bunty and babli .. well … look who are they I will not say right now….”

*play*

‘ ok ok … but I cant , take you today …. There ….” Khush replied back …

“ why why why ?? I want to go I want to go …tau ji bolo naaa….” Chikoo shouted ….

“no chikooo…” khush snapped to him … which made chikoo mute  for a while and said ‘ ok .. I also want to be the part of the boys party ……..” chikoo smiled sweetly …

Ram’s phone rang , it blinked … “ Priya” ram received the call and the first line from him was “ WHERE THE HELL YOU WERE EXACTLY ??”

Priya looked at her phone and said “ mr.kapoor ??”

Ram : “ haan ji mr.kapoor senior ….now would you like to tell where the hell you were ?”

Priya : mr.kapoor … I was in the plane … hawa mein thi …. Samjhe ….

Ram : priya , why don’t you inform me ….

Priya : ram , plz … kya ho raha hain .. if the flight got late to land , then what should I do ?

Ram : but …. Pihu grabed the phone and said “ papa stop over reacting .. now you two will fight for no reason , and mom will cry hell out of here , and I know the next step , you will take a chattered flight to delhi to meet her, and those manana roothna , bas papa enough ….” She said in a single breath … pihu handed the phone to priya and rushed to man , who was holding “ welcome mrs.priya ram kapoors and miss kapoors…” priya kept on looking at pihu she said “ talk to u later , and we are safe the car is here bye … call you at night ….”

Priya disconnected the call and headed to pihu , they were on their way to the hotel , priya didn’t uttered a single word , she kept her view out to the city , while they headed to the hotel , priya and pihu checked in .. after a while , it was 7.45 when they checked in , pihu said “ mamma going for a bath…” priya didn’t replied her she went inside and said ‘ take that room , I will be fine there , pointing to another room…”

Pihu surprisingly said “ mom , you know naa, I cant sleep wd out you , when I m out from home …”

“ so what …. !!! I used to be wd my friend , not my daughter , and my daughter needs space now ….”  Priya snapped to her daughter …

“ mom no ….” Pihu approached priya , she stepped back and said “ the way you talked wd your father , that’s the way I make you learn naa…”  priya looked aside ….

“ mom I m sorry , I will say sorry to papa .. I mean , mamma .. I m sorry , I just cant get out of the disco matter …..” pihu looked down …

“ so you will shout at your papa …. What ever he says , thinks,  does … you know one thing, why he do that …. For YOU !!! for KHUSH !! then for ME ….” Priya stepped to her daughter and said “ you know pihu , nani humesha kehti thi .. priya sakti pesh aa dost maat ban , kyun ki dost manti nahi hain teri beti .. and I used to fight wd her … and you know aaj maa ki baat sahi lagne lagi hain mujhe ….” Priya sat on the bed and said “ meri hi parwarish mein galati hain …..”

Pihu knelt to priya and resting her head on priya’s lap she said ‘ sorry mamma …. Sorry …..” priya looked aside with teary eyes … pihu took priya’s phone and called ram , he received the call , and said “ haan priya bolo ….” He sounded normal , pihu said “ papa … I m sorry … and broke into tears ….. priya looked at pihu who winked back to her …

Priya said to herself “ ho gaya abb tera priya ….”

Pihu said while weeping … “ papa !!!! I m sorry … mein ne … ‘ she broke into a loud cry …

Ram stood up and said “ pihu !!! why sorry its normal between us .. there was a pause and as expected he said “ beta mamma ne data naa…” pihu didn’t replied , she smiled and winked at priya …. Who in turn waited to hear it from ram ….

Ram from the other side said “ mamma ko phone do .. beta ….”

Pihu in while having a fake sad tone gave the phone to priya and danced silently … priya nodded her head in her defeat and said “ ji ….”

Ram shouted “ WHY YOU SCOLDED PIHU ?? DO I COME BETWEEN YOU AND HER , THAT YOU CAME BETWEEN US ??”

Priya holding the phone at a distance from her ears said “ jante hain ram , app ka problem kya hain …. App ko dikhaya ya sunaya jata hain aap wahi samjhte hain … and sorry nahi dantungi app ki beti ko …..ok ….”

Ram said “ put the phone in loudspeaker ….”

Priya putting the phone to loudspeaker said “ jee kahiye …”

Ram said “ beta mamma se naraz rehta hain koi and she is your best friend naaa,… she is not angry wd you .. just joking wd you … hain naa priya …” his tone was soft now ….

Priya looked weirdly at pihu , who was constantly smiling , she said “ ji haan ….”

Ram “ beta pihu .. got your mamma … naa….”

Pihu pretends to be still sad said “ papa … I m hungry can … I order food…”

Ram said “ priya order kar do … dinner I will call you later … ok “

‘ ok …” priya disconnected the call , throwing it on the bed ….and said “ pihu now you are gone ….” Priya ran after pihu who almost managed to dodge her mother most of the time , priya caught pihu , she said “ maa ki leg pull karegi ….” She tickled … her tummy .. they hugged each other , priya, said “ jaa fresh ho jaa I will order , something special for you …”

“ but mamma .. papa gussa …” priya stopped her and said “ tere papa ko naa samhalna aata hain mujhe .. go now..’

Pihu smiled and left to change … priya looked at her phone and taking it said “ haan suna kuch nahi huua …..”

“ I know that she is pulling your leg …” ram laughed ….

“ maa baap hain hum akhir …” priya smiled…

“ hmm accha suno naa… missing me ….’ Ram said ….

“ no never …. Now I m really going to cut the line ram…” priya said ..

“ one kiss … plz … nahi .. toh…” priya cuts in saying” stop behaving like a kid ram ….” She smiles , ram said “ ok ji chalo … biwi …. Rakho phone and order dinner for pihu .. bye… call  me ok …” ram said

‘ love you …” priya briefed ….

“ love you too baby …” ram smiled….

They now finally disconnected the call , priya ordered dinner for them ….

Mumbai …

Boys party …

Khush looked at ram and vikram , he turned his face to rahul and whispered something , but he cant escape ram’s eyes … ram said “ kya baat hain … do bhaiyon mein kya baat ho rahi hain ??”

“ ku…kuch..kuch nahi .. bade papa …” khush stammered ….

“ kuch toh hain ..bol ya bulwayun …” ram stood up …..

‘ ram uncle .. please haan … abb bada ho gaya hoon mein 2 mahine mein shaadi hain .. ahhhhhhh dad …..” he stopped as vikram pulled his ears and said “ bada tu tere biwi aur baccho ke liye hoga .. samjha .. humarein liye nahi ….”

‘ sorry … abb toh chodo .. aur khush .. bol raha tha priya aunty ko bol dega about this party …” rahul said in a stretch …

Ram and vikram looked at each other , khush curled within in hilself , he looked up and saw what he expected , two pair of eyes rolling at him , he said “ sorry sorry nahi batayunga …. Sorry … par mujhe kuch chahiye ….”

‘ kya .. “ ram and vikram said together.

“ internship mein stipend  10k nahi 15 k chahiye ….” Khush said wd a smile…

Ram said “ le bhai .. priya kaam thi … yeh bhi chalu ho gaya .. theek hain mere baap … done…”

“ jeete raho bacche ….” Khush giggled … ram said “ rook tu …” khush and rahul came running out from there they laughed .. together …

Delhi …

Bed time….

Pihu saw her mamma lying , reading a book , she crawled to her side , and comforted herself .. in her arms…. Peeping out from the duvet she said ‘ mamma …..”

‘ hmmm…” priya took her daughter closer to herself and said “ bol …”

‘ samjho naa….”

“ haan … but sorry beta no disco … for now … but I promise you when the time will come I will never stop u.”

“ but …”

Priya cuts in saying ‘ I tell you why …she turned to pihu and said “ coz … in disco , kya apne boring mom dad ko le jana hai tuje ….”

“ means ..” pihu pouted her lips …

‘ means bacche you dot know hows the environment there, all are ready to exploit themselves there .. not only Bluelagoon Black eye , Sunrise are served there … not only chicken lolies and sticks and cheese balls are served there , in disco , there are many other things bacche … specially that thing which your mamma cant handle … and only papa can handle your mamma if she takes it …..”

“ you mean … billy willy …. I mean .. MOCKTAIL HD ….”

Priya laughed and said “ haan bacche and yeh innovative names dena bandh kar … simple hard drinks nahi keh sakti thi …”

“ bolo naa…”

‘ haan bacche .. haan ….”

‘ so do you think I will take it ….”

“ no I trust my kids but I don’t trust this world , and I don’t trust drugs …”

“ means …..”

“ priyanka … Senegal .. in your group a drug addict … right ….” Priya looked at pihu … who nodded yes … priya continued saying … “ have I ever stopped you from mixing up wd her ..” pihu nodded no …. In answer …. Priya said “ coz I trust you … but at disco , you don’t know from where what will happen … and there will be no one to guide you … beta … thoda sa bada ho jao … thoda sa .. cross 18 .. then I will never stop my big G from going .. promise …. A friend’s promise ….”

‘ ok ..” pihu hugged her mamma tight .. and said “ by the way what Is big G ….”

“ kyun what you think only you can be innovative … not me … its Big Girl ….” Priya smiled ….

Pihu hugged her mamma and said “ thank you mamma …. App nahi hote .. toh …. Koi aur hota ….”  Pihu covered herself …. And giggled … priya hugging her said “ haan papa ka dialogue de … and ek baat samjh le tu beta .. agar hum dono nahi hote naa app jarur nahi hote …”. She laghued …. And continued “now sleep quick … kal subhah uthna hain …”

Pihu peeped out and said ‘ arey tell the truth naa…. Mere sone ke baad , papa se over phone romance karna hain ….” Priya rolled her eyes and wd a smile said “ when you know , then sleep naa….”

Pihu hugged her mamma tight …. Priya hugged her back …… and slowly … pihu drifted off to deep slumber …….. priya smiled looking at her little yet matured .. yet sweet princess ….
