PART 93

 Ram was devastated !!!    Priya didn’t recognized him , neither of his children , nor Vikram and neha … Only Kartik and Ayehsa was being identified by her , he sat on the waiting room alone , thinking what he is going to do.. how he is going to handle the situation , khush has gone against  pihu …..

Ram was absorbed in his thought when the doctor came in ….

Doc ::: Mr.Kapoor …

Ram looked up and stood to face the truth ….

Doc :: The MRI is done and it is confirmed  that she is having “Retrograde Amnesia” . but we have to wait a bit , she may gain back her few memory back , when she next comes to senses , or it may happen , that it will take time .

Ram :: What should we do now !!!!

Doc :: do one thing , inform her family now …. Her parents … if anything goes wrong , she will need them.

Ram :::  but , papa ji he has just survived a heart attack …  I mean how can we … I don’t know ….( ram didn’t know  how to face the truth , how to face sudheer)

Doc ::  I know , but you have to do something quick … I should be there to attain your wife .. she can gain sense anytime .. the doctor rushed from there …

Kartik was hearing the conversation , he came in and asked ram about , what he should do now next , ram had no answer ,  he with a deep sigh said “ ok , if we have no choice we have to inform papaji … chal I will come with you too…” ram stood up …. He walked out from the waiting room … the kids wanted to know what the doctor has said him , Ram asked them to stay there , until he comes back … without adding any other emotions further , he left with Kartik for Sharma house ..

Khush and Pihu  sat down ….   Khush looked at his sister , she was devastated too …… he wanted to comfort her , but he raged in anger , as he remembered ayesha’s  words , that priya meet with an accident due to her . He turned his face to other side , tears rolled down the cheeks of both the kids ….

Inside the room , the machines were beeping , few more machines were installed , priya was monitored completely …. Time is passing away …….

“She stepped out of the car , she saw her daughter coming out of the café , with that boy, pihu was heading to her car , but the boy stopped her , he is insisting her to get into his car , pihu is denying , the boy in denim is adamant to get her into his car .. pihu shouts for help , priya is on the other side …of the road … she shouts out her daughter’s name , but a big black van comes from the other side … the boy is pushing pihu into the car … priya ran to the other side ….” Blank !!!!!!!!!

Priya shouts loud coming to her senses , “ PIHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUu!!!”  one of the two nurses went to call the doctor while the other tried to calm down priya …. Priya felt a pain at the back side of her head she wanted to touch her scalp but failed … she was weak … she took the help of the nurse to lay back ..

The doctor came in , he called priya by her name , she opened her eyes and uttered in a broken voice , ‘ Pi…pihu …..m…my D..daughter ….”

Doc ::  She is fine .. you calm down …

Priya :: once call her I want to see her … I want to … priya loose her voice , she coughs and adds , “ I want to assure that she is ok …”

Doc :: ok ..only your daughter … will be permitted … nurse ..

Priya :: Doctor … since when I am here …

Doc :: wait … he asks the nurse to held up … he turns to priya and said  “ ok some few questions …but before that I need to make a call ..  actually the doctor remembered that priya’s father was also not doing well with his health . the doctor came outside and dialed ram’s number .. after a two three rings ram picked up the call ..

Ram restlessly said ‘hello’

Doc :: Mr.Kapoor , there is good news , Mrs.kapoor recognized your daughter !! so no need to inform your father in law now , you please come back to hospital soon and I have to go now ..  the doctor disconnected and walked to the room again … and on the otherside , giving the good news to kartik , he asked him to drive back to the hospital .kartik took the U turn ..

Back in the hospital room , the doctor came back to priya ,  he called priya .. by her name ….she looked at him , she found another lady doctor with him ..

The lady doctor smiled and sat by priya …  :: Helloo Priya …

Priya :: hello..

Lady Doc :: I am Dr.Reshma Pradhan .. I want you to answer something to me …

Priya nodded …

Reshma :: your name ..

Priya :: Priya Kapoor ..

Reshma :: Today is…

Priya ::  Tuesday…

Reshma Looked at the doctor and then she went back to Priya ::  You are married or single ??

Priya :: What rubbish !! priya felt ache on her head ,

Reshma :: its just a drill Priya , you have a head injury that’s why we are asking you this awkward questions. Please don’t panic or get angry I apologize in advance for my insane questions.

Priya calmed down a bit , and nodded her head  … asking the doctor to continue

Reshma ::  so u r single or married

Priya :: Married

Reshma :: for ??

Priya :: 17 years …

Reshma :: to ??

Priya :: to Mr.Ram Kapoor …

Reshma :: your kids ??

Priya :: 2 .. one daughter and one son .. pihu and khush and can I meet them now .. please …

Reshma :: sure .. nurse bring them ….

Priya closed her eyes …. Reshma .. and doctor went to a corner and discussed , reshma noted that m priya almost remembers everything only she missed three days of her life she was on the day when her accident took place , they have to give input to her brain about that before that they wanted to ask her more , but as she was restless , for her kids , they allowed them to meet …

The kids came in , they wanted to rush to priya , but the doctors stopped them and said that priya is having head injury , there is a chance of infection … reshma also made priya understand …  priya looked to her kids and smiled …. She said “kaise hoot um dono …”

Pihu and khush looked at each other they smiled , their mother can recognize they .. khush in excitement … said “ maa app . humein ..” reshma nodded him a noo , noticing that khush stopped and said “ app humein pooch rehe hain .. we should ask you .. how are you …”

Priya smiled .. ::  I m ok beta … and pihu tu kaisi hain baby ???

Pihu ::  mamma I m ok …   how are you …

Priya :: i m ok baby , just this doctor uncle leaves me and I just want to go home , where is your papa ??

Reshma :: ok times up …. Now you have to rest ….  Kids you go outside we have to do some routine check up … the kids  went from there , Reshma took the stethoscope and walked to priya , she checked her vitals and asked “  any pain you are having ??”

Priya showing her back of her head said :: here  a pain … how I got hurt …

Reshma :: you don’t remember ??

Priya :: what I remember I got a call from neha , about pihu … about something I went there in my car ,after that I don’t remember anything … reshma looked at priya , she was stressing a lot .. to remember , it was not good for her she could loose her memory again .. reshma said “Mrs.kapoor … its ok , you just slipped on the road and your head hit a stone ….”

Priya could feel a pain in her left arm too , she tried to look , but failed she asked the doctor about the left arm … reshma again lied and said that as she fell badly , that made few fractures on her left arm … she nodded to the nurse who was preparing something in a syringe .. reshma asked again , “ Your full name Mrs.kapoor ??”

Priya ::  Mrs . Priya Ram kapoor … while she spoke , the nurse pushed a sedative into the IV and she felt dizzy , priya dozed to sleep in minutes …. 

When Reshma and the doctor walked to the door , they saw Ram standing there , ram thanked the doctors , Reshma left .. and Doctor , who was actually taking care of Priya , his name is Dr.Khan …  Dr,khan took ram outside and in presence of all the family members …  he disclosed priya’s condition …

“ Mrs.kapoor is responding now she remembers who she is actually which she failed for the first time , but she is missing three days of her life , she is still thinking  that today is Tuesday , when she meet the accident , she don’t even remember how she ended up to the hospital and how she meet the accident so we made a story that she slipped and her head got banged on the rock … and somehow her left arm got fractures …she believed us .. and now what she remembers , she remembered , that she went to meet her daughter , when Neha informed her , in her car , after that she remembers nothing , so you have to take of this … just give her time and she will slowly remember everything and none of you will tell her about the date , Reshma is working she is a Psychiatrist she will inform her .. the wound will take time to heal , but the good news is that you don’t have to wait for so long to get her back …”

The doctor smiled …

Ram again thanked the doctor … he was bit relieved ,,, he sat back on the chair … he smiled for the first time after a long time …  there was a happiness all around … Ram asked every one to leave , he wanted to stay back with Priya ….  Kartik wanted to stay back , and wanted ram to go back to kapoor mansion to have some rest , but he denied and said that he wants to be with priya , infront of her eyes when she wakes up next . Vikram who was there , asked kartik to do what Ram wants him to do , and he assured that , he will stay back with Ram … after a while the familes left , Vikram stayed back with ram …. Who was only waiting for his Love to wake up …

Taking permission from the doctor , ram and vikram went inside the cabin , vikram settled on the couch while ram sat just by priya , taking her hand on his , he waited for priya to open her eyes and see him first …..

Precap ::: Priya still donot remember how she ended up to the hospital , the actual reason , but when she will remember , that pihu bunked school to meet vyom , what she will do ?? will she forgive her , will she forgive Ram ???
